    OK.
    Time for honesty, Rob.

Is your thread for real or a wind-up?
If it's a wind up we can all step back and have a laugh at how funny it was.
If it's for real, I think you're going to get a few hard truths that you may find unpalatable.

So biscuits are a good swap then. Thank you.
This is all I really want to know - what are good cheap swaps and what I shouldn't bother with.

I have told her that she needs to double that weekly food budget and give me the money and I will feed us.

why does girlfriend need to double the food budget to feed you, do you not pay your share?

What about other expenses, council tax, utilities?

Do you work, or just pass your time swapping boxes and wrappers?

Nothing is a good swap unless you decide there is no difference in taste to the premium brand or you actually prefer the cheaper brand.

It's not up to you to arbitrarily decide which items to brand swap so you can 'make money' out of your girlfriend.

Yes, because biscuits are an essential food group when you are in debt and expect your GF to bail you out without even knowing.

    What a plonker.

I'm not sure that's true having read some of the OP's earlier threads.

I just hope the OP's girlfriend went into this with her eyes open in full possession of the facts.
