To get E4+1 as its called you have to reinstall channels as its on channel 39 not channel 14, it starts today at 2pm
Absolutely gutted about Paul Walker - RIP xx0 -
Just switched on to check my freeview box and E4 is up and running on channel 14, showing highlights of previous BB at the moment

Also, for those who are interested, the BB live stream will be shown on the new channel "705", when E4 is showing other things. This channel should also appear when you update your box.
Rather confusingly though E4 don't want people going straight to this channel, so you have to access it through ared button on E4. If you do visit "705" directly a screen pops up asking you to do that. This space intentionally left blank.0 -
Does anyone know if I buy a freeview box in Tesco and it I can't get any of the channels, can I return it?0

As reference the older 'On-digital' branded boxes which do not support the latest 'MHEG' of the newer boxes will not be able to press 'red' on E4 and be taken to the live feed. They will also have a problem trying to go direct to the feed on 705 as the onscreen message will appear after a few seconds telling them to watch via pressing 'red' on E4!! (Which they can't do!)
The way to get rid of the big brother 'eye' screen blocking the view on 705 is to either press 'exit' 'guide' or 'subtitles' on the remote depending on which ondigital box you have.
Hope that helps a few people out!
Cheers

They should check the postal codes with you to see if you will get reception and might say it shouldn't be returned for that reason but Tesco are very good at returning goods anyway so you could say it didn't fit in the space or something else.0 -
Well I will buy it in the Tesco I work and then I can pursuade them to let me return it!

Have you tried unplugging the box and plugging it back in again?
Sometimes my Nokia box needs a reset to get interactive stuff working again. This space intentionally left blank.0
