If you can't find it you have a problem but more likely your box can find it but not show it as its encrypted
Patience - try again at the weekend when it should be unencrypted - hopefully forever!TANSTAAFL !0 -
E4 is on channel 14 - currently just showing a blank screen.0

heard its gonna be available on 27th when big brother starts.... :wall:0

To give you a rough idea I paid around £45 to get my aerial upgraded. I was missing half of the channels otherwise and its definitely worth it, especially now E4 is on the way for free! :beer:0

According to the Freeview website, they don't reach our postcode, although it does cover an area 3 miles away. Does anyone know how accurate it is? Not sure if it is a similar thing, but we can't get Channel 5 without Sky here - are we just in a poor reception area? Medway towns, Kent, hardly out in the sticks!0 -
Try borrowing a Freeview box or a digital radio off somebody and see what sort of reception you get. As I understand it, the Freeview website does err on the side of caution so you may be OK.telly-addict wrote:According to the Freeview website, they don't reach our postcode, although it does cover an area 3 miles away.0 -
Thanks Arfa. Is there anything that would make a Freeview box 'unreturnable' to the store if it didn't work? If we bought it and just plugged it in to see if we got a reception, would there be anything else that needed to be done? Then if we got no reception we could take it back to the store?
I didn't know that about digital radio - so if I could check to see if we can receive that (BBC website?), it could help?0
