Happy New Year Folks
I'm a wee bit delicate after the celebrations...
Have had a grand Crimbo and Hogmanay / Ne'er Day good times with good folks.
The Homebrew went down a treat and I am SO glad I was organised and everything was ready to drink on time. £50 well spent there
It wasn't all food n drink though this season, I managed to keep on with the hiking with the furry one(s) and the GF and with my bestie as well. Hoping to get another hike in at weekend before returning to work on the 7th.
Santa was good to me and I received mucho good stuffBooks and some new outdoor gear etc. The GF and my friends know me so well lol
For 2019 I am soldiering on with keeping a firm grip on my finances and will continue making progress and savings throughout the year.
Hoping to get away for 2 weeks during the summer this year and if we can do it a couple of weekend city breaks in Europe
Also a couple of items for the home if I can wiggle it.
It's doable, I just need to be strict with myself and stick to the budgets
I hope everyone has had a grand festive season and that 2019 is a good year for everyone

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Happy New Year, US. Had my steak pie last night and a huge pot of soup bubbling away. Just like All Scottish Granny's did! (Although I'm not a Granny but I live in hope).
So glad you've had a good year all things considered and really pleased to hear you're still with GF.
I'm off on Monday for a tootle around Europe by train. Where are you thinking of going?Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Thanks Toni'sfriend, I'm thinking of either Copenhagen, Prague, Krakow, Oslo or Stockholm as a nice wee surprise for my GFBUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
