    Evening folks :D

Spent couple of days away with a few mates in the wilderness of the north west highlands... it was a bit rough but we had a grand time. The dug absolutely loved being in the great ootdoors and we reckon she covered about five or six times the distance we did with all her running about everywhere.

Thankfully we got home to a lovely pot of home made beef stew (thanks to the GF and besties missus :D) had a few ales and are soon to be offski to the land of nod.

Hope awbiddy has had a grand weekend :D

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Now that I am discharged from Bankruptcy I have been offered an upgrade to my Nationwide account. Currently I have their basic account. Was contacted by them saying that I am eligible to upgrade my account.
I popped into my branch to see what was what and have an appointment with one of their account advisers in a couple of weeks time to go thru what options are available to me.
Having looked at their accounts I think that the best one for me atm would be their standard Flex Account. Anyone have any experience of this account, any good?

I am, of course, trying to make sure that I don't get too far ahead of myself. Would stepping up from a basic account be a good move to make?
    Hmmm...

So, currently on the sofa with the wee furry yin cuddling in to me... her first fireworks night with me...
Not to bothered by all the noise I think but she does seem to just want to curl up on the sofa with me atm... will know for sure if she has any issues when it's time to go for her walk... if she doesn't want out then that is fine. Just want to keep her happy and safe.
Hope everyone with wee furries is doing their best to keep them happy and safe tonight too.

    Morning folks :D

The furry one was fine on fireworks night we went for our usual evening walk and she was totally unfazed by it all, in fact I think she liked all the flashes and bangs of the various displays going on.

    Yet another busy day today.
Still thinking over the upgrade options for the NatWide account...

Hope everyone has a grand day and I hope to pop in an out as I can during the day ;)

I've been nationwide since the time that land forgot
Never had any real issues and always found them very helpful

I think the upgrade to flex only really gives you overdraft facility , Is that something you would want ?

I have the flex basic account currently even though I can 'upgrade' I haven't as I don't think it will make a difference to me to be honest. I don't have 'savings' and I don't want an overdraft or anything like that.
I'm really happy with my 'basic' account.

I'm sure they will advise which is best for you

    Thanks folks :D

It is the overdraft option that is concerning me...

Whilst I can see the pros of having a wee safety net I would like to keep firm control of it if you know what I mean...
