Interesting variations in the discounts and values compared to my account (full details in previous post, page 40). In particular you got a much larger Jumbo pack, whilst I got a larger Little Extra Pack with a higher discount as well.
In my case the Carnival Pack was £7.61, Worth £9.88 with 23% discount.0 -
My carnival pack was a mere 14 percent discount. £3.44 for £4. Ridiculously low. I didn't bother. My jumbo only 8.5%. My discounts are so low I rarely bother. Thus my credit is now down to £58 or 9 weeks worth. This time last year it was £1900

I see the regulator has given provisional approval for the merger of SSE and NPower - " As part of its in-depth review, the inquiry group has provisionally decided to clear the deal after finding that SSE and Npower do not compete closely on SVT prices".
Will be interesting to see what difference that makes to Powershop down the road.0 -
Breaking news
Go to powershop website and click usage
At bottom of that menu I now have a your next tariff tab which details my next tariff I'm going onto
I've yet to digest the implications but will post here when I have0 -
Ok it doesn't look good on initial glance
My consumption is 2689 kWh
cost standard rate 530 was 423.94
Purchase powerpack rate 391.65 (351.31) 7
Standing charge 17.57 (16.6)
Standard Unit rate 17.31 was 13.5
Top shopper 12.3 was 10.8
So to achieve my top shopper rate I need an overall discount of 26.1% up from current 17.1%
Apparently all powerpacks currently purchased remain at same value
These tariffs are known as baseline 2018 version 1 and top shopper 2018 version 1
Outfox zapp July medium consumption is coming up at 22.41 a year cheaper though that is a variable tariff0 -
Interestingly my January future powerpack prices have stayed the same but their value altered so now I can buy 11.59 worth for 8.39.
Previously I could only buy 9.04 worth for 6.540
