    Good news on the bulgalar.
AS you say very good news on the fact DD did not confront them.
    That is seriously scary.

Goodness INOD. There are some scary people around. Confronting the burglar could have been awful. Let's hope he gets the book thrown at him.

  • I'm glad your burglar has been caught. I wonder if he'll get charged with manslaughter or murder for running the woman over. Either way he should be off the streets for a good while.

  • Yesterday I did nothing work related but got two thirds of a flower bed weeded, laundry done, kitchen tidy up, forced dh to review some clothing and two pieces are going. We ate from items in house and no pennies were spent. Sitting room is also close to being sorted.

Today needs to be work planning, house planning and work admin. I've a fair bit on this week so need to be prepared. This includes one day in dublin which will be a long one. DD is out for lunch today so it'll be just the two of us to be fed. A roast was cooked yesterday while other stuff was in the oven and there was some mash left over so that's me close to sorted. I may wander to the local co op to get some salad. It'll be a long process but now we've made a decision about the house, the odd 5 mins here or there are being spent chipping away. It's already making a difference. Today I am grateful for

  • Well, yesterday evaporated due to me being violently ill while driving dd to work. I returned home, stripped and put clothes I'd been wearing into the machine and crashed. Not sure what was going on as I'd only had some fruit for breakfast. That means that the next few days will be playing catchup. Not good.

Today I have 4 work commitments in addition to keeping on top of emails, calls, etc. yesterday I agreed a new piece of work but at least have until next Thursday to get it done.

Yesterday was FIL's birthday and our first contact with them since they were here behaving badly at the end of March. When dh called, they apparently were giving off that apart from the son who lives with them, he was the first who had been in touch. Asking themselves why is clearly beyond them. I dread to think what will happen when there is only one of them.
Anyhow, on MSE news, I'm within 55 sb of another £10 voucher and have just passed the £18 level on pa. I cashed out £12 from £co in a voucher and have just over a fiver cash coming from tcb. Right, can't avoid getting the day underway any longer.

    Today I am grateful for
Work that brings income with it
    Feeling better

    Belated welcome home from me!:D

I do hope you're on the mend today and sorry that certain members of your family have been getting you down again.

Exciting news on your house project though and it sounds like you've made a positive start on the decluttering.

P.S. Hope the scummy burglar gets what he deserves.
