    How frustrating about the cheque!

Well done on the scratchcard win :)

Well yes, but daily interest calcs mean it will jump up by a lesser amount;).

Depends if you feel comfortable committing the cash, really. It sounds like maybe not. Either would be a decision based on sound financial planning.

Win win on the bank refund! Though disappointing over the cheque business. The recent adverse weather seems to have become the default excuse for bad customer service.

Glad you got to see most of the show and your dental bill was pretty good too!

Belated anniversary wishes on your first year of self-employment and enjoy your weekend!

  • Today I was presented with breakfast from dd, chocs, books and the daffodils that are my favourite flowers. She also got me a card that includes the mucky paw print put there by the dog. DS surprisingly managed to get both a card and a present delivered. This level of organisation is generally beyond him!

Today mr wii advised that although my weight continues on its upward trend, I escaped without an additional pound being recorded. This is not good.
Yesterday I was doing some money bits and pieces and made an £8 TT to the mortgage. I decided that TT would give me the middle ground between clearing down to another thousand and doing nothing. Thanks for the input on this.
The meeting on Thursday was not good from turning up late to moving the goal posts. I'm in a quandary though as I don't have much choice but to press on. I'm thinking of going to the owner. The problem with that is that I will then still have to deal with the person concerned as she is the only one holding that position.
On other news, I'm overwhelmed work wise and have a meeting at 11 this evening. All I want to do is to read my new books! I also need to establish a plan that takes me up to my birthday plotting all that needs done. I will also need to visit my mother which I'm dreading. Who knows, it might be one of those rare occasions when she worries me by being nice about things! Anyhow, today I am grateful for

Your Mothers Day sounded lovely - even down to the doggy card!

Hope you manage to sort out things evolving from the tiresome Thursday meeting.

Very good to read your third gratitude though.
