Quite a day yesterday then! Hopefully you have left your friend feeling a bit better than she was, and your arm doesn't get too stiff from unexpectedly getting pulled. That must have been a shock.
Enjoy meeting your friend and the ensuing war stories! It will be interesting to get her feedback especially if you can talk about the nightmare clients.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Glad your dd was ok - something to be grateful for indeed ....
Time spent poking fun at your friend will have done you both good.
Take care when tackling stairs in the night - not supposed to miss steps - doesn't do you any good at all.January spends - £587.581 -
Glad DD's result was positive. Well done for being there for your friend. That fall sounds nasty, hope you are less sore today x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Thanks folks. Am feeling heaps better. Did a full day in work yesterday bar a break for nearly 2 hours to meet up with old boss for a coffee and to get banking done. I need six transactions to hit my target. One is in train, one is planned for Friday. There's another one for the payment of my February expenses and I need stationery or printing services today for a tender due in tomorrow. I issued three invoices on Sunday evening. One is a very prompt payer so possibly one more transaction there. If needs be I can mistakenly op dd for work that she's doing and she can refund it so that'll be another transaction. I must check the date of the dd for email. This could be the final one needed.
Today I have a presentation to do. I had agreed this with a client but hadn't diaried it. So glad that they confirmed. I also have a lead for another piece of work. With other commitments, I am seriously struggling but don't want to turn anything away. I have also hit payout on prolific and am 85% of the way towards a £10 sparks voucher from SB. If I ever make it to £20 on inbox£s, I'm unsubscribing. This one drains the life from me. However, I'm close to £18 so can't walk away at this point.
Today I have had to resort to medication for bowel spasm. I'm fortunate that this might only be a twice a year event but why on the day I'm doing a presentation. Today we have cold weather but bar a tiny skiff yesterday, no snow so far. This is good as this evening's job is 25 miles away.
Hopefully, you have all found ways of keeping warm. My £250 will go towards the gas bill that hits midway through April.

Sorry to hear you are feeling off-colour this morning. I hope the medication does the trick and your presentation goes really well.
It does sound as though the surveys are a pressure you could do without at the moment. Perhaps the life-draining one could go on the back burner for a bit?
Well done on all the planned transactions! It can be done, with focus, and this is of course a short month so you don't really get very long do you?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
