I have to admit that I am really disappointed if Ernie doesn’t come through for us.  Between us we tend to average a few hundred a month.  We could probably get more elsewhere with interest and careful planning but, I like the draw plus my self employed status means that income is uncertain until the end of the tax year so I like that wins don’t complicate things for me.

I tend to agree with you as regards to PB winnings inod. I have had the maximum allowance in these since 2021 and in all that time I've only experienced one month when I didn't win!  I must admit that my average monthly wins over the period tend to be between £75-150 but I have experienced one win of £5,000 a year ago. Like you I agree I could get more in interest if I shopped around but, hey, I like the anticipation of the draw too!😁

I can really relate to that too.  I spend half my life not doing stuff because I can't do it 'properly'.  Not realising that getting half a job done is progress than can be celebrated and completed another time.

Well done on the weight loss and the lottery win!

If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Well done on the financial and decluttering progress!

If I may, I just spotted your signature says  'good enough for now'.  You should remove the 'for now' and add a full stop instead.  You are good enough now!
