Happy New Year.
Hope you get the wills sorted out.
ive had the paperwork for a POA in the drawer for over a year and not got everyone together with a a witness that know us all….2026 is my year to sort that.January spends - £587.587 -
Thanks everyone for the new year wishes. I’m currently determined to make improvements. Today I am properly restarting work although I have dipped in and out over the break. Yesterday I logged on and issued two invoices plus a statement for one that’s outstanding. I also engaged with mr wii yesterday to find myself back to 12st 1lb. Up 2 but still within the plus or minus 2 lb range. A real effort is needed to get below that.
we are currently experiencing snow though a thaw is expected today. If that doesn’t happen, I may ask to have an in person dublin meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning, changed to teams based. I picked a friend up from the airport yesterday as her original lift would have made a much snowier and longer journey. This meant I was able to scoot to the sparks store when it opened. £22 spent with only 2 non reduced items. One reduced find is bbe July 26 at less than 25% of original price. Last night’s dinner came from freezer and stores. Today I really need to make soup as it’s possibly one of the healthiest foods that I really enjoy.I need to get dressed warmly and get stuck into some work. Today I am grateful for

Gosh you do well with your PBs. Well done!!
I had full holding for over a year and rarely received over £100.
I still like PBS though

I have to admit that I am really disappointed if Ernie doesn’t come through for us. Between us we tend to average a few hundred a month. We could probably get more elsewhere with interest and careful planning but, I like the draw plus my self employed status means that income is uncertain until the end of the tax year so I like that wins don’t complicate things for me.
cherry, I tend to only make a few soups. Last week was the end of Christmas veg plus a leek, barley and parsley. No outlay was required. On Tuesday I went to Dublin armed with an m&s voucher for the return journey. I had my meeting (was only 20 mins late despite the weather) then drove home stopping at homestore&more, Aldi and a sparks food hall. I had pre checked offers and was able to buy needed items at half price for the home though €4 was also spent on other handy to have items e.g fur trimmed tartan fabric wine bottles for 49 cents each. I then went to Aldi spending just under €50 on some essentials and some offers. My final stop was at sparks where I added 98p to a £50 voucher at least £40 of which was spent on heavily reduced items some of which have been eaten while others are in the freezer for future use.Work has progressed albeit slowly and one large and one small invoice have been paid. This means there is comfortably enough to pay the tax bill, the next vat bill while starting to make provision for pension contribution. One piece of work finally concluded so that invoice will be issued this week.On other news, I got my quarterly b12 jab and mr wii advised my weight is downwards but not enough for a full pound reduction. I’ll happily take that.
