I decluttered some old jeans and a blind fell down so I am decluttering that too. I like the 1 item a day suggestion...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Went to dublin, no work likely to come from that meeting. I did however drop 4 handbags into a consignment shop so fingers crossed that they sell. There was another that they had no interest in so it'll go on the bay this weekend. DS is back this weekend to go to a wedding so I will lose my car Saturday and Sunday. There's still a bit of work to do on an application due in on Thursday and I've a course followed by lunch tomorrow. I've also agreed to help a friend with a submission due on fri and have other stuff to get done. It always seems to be feast or famine. I'm frazzled.
Today I am grateful for
A safe journey

I'm tired and fed up. I'm fed up with people not paying for work that I did well and priced reasonably. I'm also fed up with dd and her attitude to the house. If she lived in shared accommodation, her disregard of others would not be tolerated. OH had agreed to talk to her last weekend and that still hasn't happened. It is wearing me down and I hate feeling like this.
I got my submission in on time yesterday and also had it acknowledged which was good.
Yesterday was an incredibly spendy day. I went to makro to get a flipchart stand and toilet roll. They don't do that kind of thing anymore so I filled the car with 4 packs of 32 toilet rolls that were bogof, cases of water and soft drinks, sultanas that were buy 2 get £1 off, bananas, whoopsied bread, etc.
before going I ordered OH a set of socks from marks as they emailed me a 20% off. I would have been buying these for Christmas anyway so that's an actual saving. Today I am not working other than keeping an eye on emails. It's getting me down and there's nothing pressing so I'm giving myself a day off. Also, DS arrives home today so that would disrupt things anyway and I'm already feeling frustrated.
Today I am grateful for
Improved blood tests, they still have a way to go but are heading in the right direction.
The comforts of a first world home. I may complain about what needs down but we have power, hot and cold running water, etc

sounds like a gazillion things weighing you down, hope you have managed to do something nice for you today.
We run into the odd problem with late payers, and generally with no valid reason at all. Usually the bigger companies are the worst too.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Sorry to hear you’ve been feeling down inod.
Re DD - perhaps it would be better if you both tackled her at the same time. She might realise that you’re serious then and she’ll have to start pulling her weight. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
