There's lots of positive stuff there, and well done on the PB win.  I hope HMRC pull their finger out.

Well done on the new work and the winnings! And in fact plenty of positives in there: a small change in weight is neither here nor there as you know. It could be a very temporary blip.

I'll cheer you on in the battle with the sugar, I hope you are past the bit where you felt unwell. Wise not to go cold turkey, which must be so hard.

Glad you are feeling a bit better. A good hibernation seems to help sometimes!

It is a shame the responsibility for 'seeing' what needs doing in the house falls to you...

We must remember to prescribe regular hibernation for you. I think you must have needed it and the struggles you were experiencing were your mind and body trying to tell you about it. It may not even be a coincidence that you lost 2lbs (well done for that by the way! What a satisfying moment!)

Re the builder, perhaps he's on holiday? Or just using the nice weather to cram in more jobs?

How irritating that your DD hasn't left enough time to do her share of chaos-clearing. Could it just be bundled into her room and the door closed on it till she's back? I know that's not as good as having it sorted out, but it's better than having to look at it.
