Both of yesterday’s client engagements went well. DD made it home with just a slight delay. Thankfully we don’t live too far from the airport so check on line before leaving the house. On other news, today is DH’s office day so we will head in shortly plus he’s finishing a bit earlier as we both have haircuts booked from six. I think that’s about the height of the excitement.
today I am grateful for

Today I have session 2 with new counsellor. I’m expecting it to go well as I liked her approach. There’s also work to be done, etc. I had a bad night last night but thankfully just feel tired as opposed to unsettled. What it did to my haircut doesn’t bear thinking about!
I’m currently sitting typing without a memory of what I did yesterday other than watching two episodes of master chef and eastenders. Food was from what was in the house with stew featuring. Given I appear to have done nothing recently, I better get started today.

Yesterday I went to the counselling, I’m already wondering if she takes on clients privately. I have just clicked with her approach. After that, I went to the social enterprise cafe and brought home lunch for me and dh and breakfast for dd.
I did some admin type work sending what was needed to my accountant. It appears hmrc owes me approximately £300 which is 0.6% towards the pb target. I did a few other bits and pieces including arranging a meeting that I now have to rearrange.Today I want some stuff out the door and am hopeful of it happening. There are a couple of frogs to be eaten. I’m wondering if hp sauce would make them any more palatable.Today I am grateful for
a good counselling session

The new counsellor sounds a much better experience than previously.
I wouldn't waste good HP sauce on frogs - but it's lovely on Toad in the Hole.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Looks like more of the same with little accomplished but some things chased up. Not feeling it today as I didn’t sleep particularly well. I suppose I’m just dropping in here to maintain some sort of accountability.

Yesterday I had a physio appointment from a referral made when I had trouble with my back in the early part of the year. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I should take it as things have settled but I went and was given some preventative exercises which is great. I then did the Iceland shop using the fourth and final £5 off a £25 spend. One item bought went towards dinner which we had before going to our dance class.I even managed to squeeze in getting shot of an email and taking a few client calls. We also had a charity pick up a furniture item so that’s something else out of the house and the sitting room nearly cleared and fit for use.Today dd and I are at an Irish bread making class so she can hopefully gain skills to provide a taste of home when she’s back overseas. We will also go to a farm shop to pick up the sugar free ginger cordial dh drinks hot throughout the winter.Today I am grateful for
a great physio

Glad the physio helped, and it's good that your living room is almost clear again."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2
