I remember coming out of an interview where I'd remembered another point half way through a later question - the interviewer thought it was funny (it was), and told me she never expected 100% of a candidate's ability to show through at interview. I got the job. :)

    Have a productive weekend. :)

You've done loads considering you weren't feeling well.  Hope you are feeling better.

Good luck on the new PB target!

  • Managed the coffee meet up and the planned shopping trip.  To avoid doing what was needed and caused broken sleep, I also did some hand washing, general laundry, sorted the kitchen and found the new series of London kills on the iplayer.  Seriously? Where is my head?

Today I have had breakfast and am working up to starting work.  It’s not helped by DH’s insistence that there’s no need for the heat to go on.
I think he may be over ruled on this one.  That said, despite earlier rain, it appears to be bright and sunny if cold.

Got to love a good run of displacement activities! One achieves so much.

Is DH the one who's moving about in the house while you sit down to work? If so he's got his own heating system. The trade-off is: if work stops you being active, and therefore warm, you get to have the heating on as you are earning the money to pay for it.

  • Well I found out yesterday that I was unsuccessful at interview. I’m trying to look at it as freeing me up for other things but I enjoyed that assignment and it was a guaranteed annual income.  Deep down I’m gutted and ridiculously went under the covers leaving me with a significant catch up today.
On other news, I picked up the missing meds from the chemist which is good.  I also watched the rest of london kills.  We also spent ten fortunes on two concert tickets to see a Belfast based gig.  I’m not quite sure from where this is being funded yet but there’s a few pots we can raid.
Today I have to contact my gp for my anti depressant meds review.  This will of course be dependent on being one of the first 20 to call and being able to answer my call on the first ring back.
Right, really need to get motoring.  Today I am grateful for
a concert to look forward to with minimal travel costs
a speedy outcome to the application process
being able to see a potential positive

Oh that's a shame, though as you say it will free you for something else. It may come round again.

Good to have the gig booked.

  • Yesterday was fairly productive until around four o’clock.  Today needs to be more so esp as dh has taken the day off to work on a client job for me.  So, work progressed on a few fronts, three items left the house, a call was made for a charity shop to pick up an item of furniture and I had a phone consultation with my gp.  My anti depressants needed a repeat prescription but, informed by input from the last counselling session, I spoke to the gp.  As of today, my dose has been doubled.  I think I am beyond being annoyed by this.
Today I restart the 6 weeks of counselling at a new venue.  This is close to the charity shop so eight items will leave the house.
I will also get a piece of work over the line.
As my working day will be disrupted by the appointment, I need to get moving.
    today I am grateful for
work heading in the right direction
    dh’s help
    dinner from freezer and stores
remembering to pick up frequently used super six item before offer changes
