I remember coming out of an interview where I'd remembered another point half way through a later question - the interviewer thought it was funny (it was), and told me she never expected 100% of a candidate's ability to show through at interview. I got the job.

Well, so far an unproductive weekend. The anticipated tummy problems flared up with bells on. Early afternoon dh was despatched to the big brand chemist to buy a lower dose over the counter version of my meds that are working fairly well. I paid my vat bill (which always hurts) and tried logging into a client site to get things moving. It was down. We have also decided that we will be in london the first weekend in December and I’m determined to have all outstanding work cleared by then. Today a major list will be made and all tasks allocated a time slot or allocated to dh and/or my currently on the missing list, admin support.
today I spoke to mr wii. I’m down about a quarter of a pound but no movement on the numbers. I’m happy with that. My sugar levels were slightly up but I’m not sure why though it may have been related to meds not being absorbed due to tummy problems. Yesterday I also tackled a small clothing category and four items are en route to the charity shop. This has freed some drawer space which is good. There is another category to be tackled but it’ll keep as those items need to be tried on with work clothes. I also prepped an item of ds’s that means it’s now ready for donation.
Today I want to take an item to recycling, some to the charity shop and make use of a £5 off a £25 spend doing some Christmas food prep and a top up shop of store cupboard items. I’m also meeting a friend for coffee. I’m breaking down a work task into what I think is achievable before I need to leave the house. That is however contingent upon me restricting my reading of other people’s diaries.

Clearly work is going well - not!
ive been thinking and, due to this month’s pb win and the need to free up freezer space, I’m now aiming for being 20% towards target by year end. It was 15% but this win will put us on 16.2%. Bill payments for the end of nov, end of dec will come to another 1.6% so there will be a stretch but hopefully that’ll spur us to income generate.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. You've done loads considering you weren't feeling well. Hope you are feeling better.

Managed the coffee meet up and the planned shopping trip. To avoid doing what was needed and caused broken sleep, I also did some hand washing, general laundry, sorted the kitchen and found the new series of London kills on the iplayer. Seriously? Where is my head?Today I have had breakfast and am working up to starting work. It’s not helped by DH’s insistence that there’s no need for the heat to go on.I think he may be over ruled on this one. That said, despite earlier rain, it appears to be bright and sunny if cold.Today I am grateful for

Got to love a good run of displacement activities! One achieves so much.
Is DH the one who's moving about in the house while you sit down to work? If so he's got his own heating system. The trade-off is: if work stops you being active, and therefore warm, you get to have the heating on as you are earning the money to pay for it.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. Well I found out yesterday that I was unsuccessful at interview. I’m trying to look at it as freeing me up for other things but I enjoyed that assignment and it was a guaranteed annual income. Deep down I’m gutted and ridiculously went under the covers leaving me with a significant catch up today. On other news, I picked up the missing meds from the chemist which is good. I also watched the rest of london kills. We also spent ten fortunes on two concert tickets to see a Belfast based gig. I’m not quite sure from where this is being funded yet but there’s a few pots we can raid.Today I have to contact my gp for my anti depressant meds review. This will of course be dependent on being one of the first 20 to call and being able to answer my call on the first ring back.Right, really need to get motoring. Today I am grateful for
a concert to look forward to with minimal travel costs

Oh that's a shame, though as you say it will free you for something else. It may come round again.

Yesterday was fairly productive until around four o’clock. Today needs to be more so esp as dh has taken the day off to work on a client job for me. So, work progressed on a few fronts, three items left the house, a call was made for a charity shop to pick up an item of furniture and I had a phone consultation with my gp. My anti depressants needed a repeat prescription but, informed by input from the last counselling session, I spoke to the gp. As of today, my dose has been doubled. I think I am beyond being annoyed by this.Today I restart the 6 weeks of counselling at a new venue. This is close to the charity shop so eight items will leave the house.I will also get a piece of work over the line.As my working day will be disrupted by the appointment, I need to get moving.
