Thank you all, isn’t it great to find people who get what matters to you. Not sure if I mentioned before that I am the only member of my immediate family with a mortgage. That said, I’m also the only one who had a marriage breakdown, etc. sometimes it’s comfortable to be regarded as the family failure- expectations tend to be low!On other news, we got rid of five bags to the charity shop on Saturday. I also won £1 from my tv surveys and got a piece of work prepped for later in the week and yesterday I had a quick catch up with a friend. I’ve just done my blood sugar reading and it continues to be in range which is good. If the nausea settles. I should start to feel better. I actually think that my energy levels are starting to crawl upwards.Well, it looks like I didn’t win the pb jackpot but any winnings that there may be will go as an op. Roll on tomorrow when I hit the 20s though I’m wondering if I will be evicted from here and sent to the mfw given my outstanding amount now has no consolidated consumer debt.Right, breakfast beckons. Today I am grateful for
an increase in my wealthify £50

I don't think anyone has every been thrown off this board! I do think however that some people decide it would be better to move themselves and their thread over to the MFW board.
Good luck for the PBs tomorrow; I've got my fingers crossed for myself too as not had a win for over a year now - my holiday savings aren't going to be increased if I don't get a win soon!

Very exciting to be in the 20s! Nearly there
You've made loads of progress, well done. It is so frustrating when people don't share the same enthusiasm. My DH is very short termist, and so just can't see that everything we do now will help in the long run. I think also if they haven't known properly what it is to struggle, they just don't appreciate the small wins in the same way.
We are all here to cheer you on, and will be just as excited as you are when you get there!
I think if DFW feels like your home, then that is the place to be. It's all about managing budgets and staying out of debt as much as clearing them. I stayed on here after becoming debt free as being on here is keeping me that way. That’s my reasoning for staying anyway 😉January spends - £587.585

They haven't chucked me off though the overdraft is long gone and the mortgage too... but we don't have the greatest income and for health reasons prefer not to increase our hours. I find being here keeps me aware of silly spends and the large unplanned things like building repairsI think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

This place definitely feels like home. I think that not seeing mortgage as a debt for so long was in part responsible for the multiple consolidations that really didn’t work for me. I can remember a bank manager telling me that I needed to learn how to budget and going outside with my ex and laughing about it.So, look at the sig - finally in the 20s and more decreases expected this month. These include £44 ebay pounds, £100 pb win and I think £150 switching bonus that dh received. I know that I’ll feel obligated to round it up to at least £300. Also, if I manage to get a swag up, I’ll cash in at least a £10 voucher so that’ll be another £10 and my prolific could do with some focus.Right, need to get to a nice client in the next half hour. Today I am grateful for
