Physio went so much better than expected. Turns out, that in true inod fashion, I was over complicating the exercises which compensated for the reduced numbers I was doing. The physio is lovely but the receptionist is a complete jobsworth. This engagement has clearly demonstrated how lacking my life is in exercise. That needs to be addressed.
today will be a long day as I’m hoping to get both payrolls done and dusted though this will also involve a 50 mile round trip. I’ve had it with grown men behaving with spoilt brats!
the trip is to a trustee currently unable to travel as his colleagues won’t step up as there has been an issue. Really!
anyhow, I want to get the day underway sooner rather than later so off I toddle.

Both payrolls done and so far, just one error. It would have to be on one of the problem staff. Another who left recently leaving us seriously in the lurch texted to see if he was due more. He was advised that he had been overpaid and would be contacted about that. People need to understand that our charitable aims are not to keep them in employment.Yesterday we had another staff covid case from someone who has been completely irresponsible. We will struggle to cope over the next week esp with night shifts. Today I am covering an afternoon shift which I don’t mind but it means I don’t get other stuff done.Today is my first sugar free day so I will go to work armed with an apple and an orange just in case. I have also warned dh that tea cannot be accompanied by biscuits.Today I am grateful for

The sugar free day sounds interesting…..is this a regular occurrence.
Hope you manage with the available staff 👍January spends - £587.584 -
Milann, if I could post a link I would. Honey_bear has started a towards a sugar free future thread that I stumbled across. The idea is to start with one day a week and build up. First day successfully executed. I’m sure you all know by now how much I struggle with sugar so I’m taking any sugar free day as a win. That said, it’s just avoiding the junk food not analysing the sugar content of sauces, etc and I’m still eating fruit. I do know from past experience that cutting out junk makes me far more aware of hidden sugars.
on other news, I decided that I won’t be going to the two London shows in the next three weeks. I’m hopeful one can be rescheduled and dd and friends will benefit from the other. I’m too freaked out by covid related travel concerns to be able to enjoy things. The NI numbers are bad and the thought of being masked up for more than 3 hours on the trot just does not work for me. It’s like going on site most days takes all of my efforts. Outside of that I just want to stay home or see people outdoors. I wonder if the constant fear will ever go or if we will just be waiting for the next variant. I hate having the responsibility for safety measures with little relevant guidance. I play it as safe as I can, we have kept it out of our main site service users, but am challenged by both the service users and our working from home funder that I need to be more flexible. I’m tired of this balancing act.
also, dh isn’t happy at being parted from the four legged one.
Enough of that, this weekend I am going to do some ironing. It’s too easy to use the no meeting excuses to let standards slip and live permanently in leggings and unironed tee shirts.I also need to restart work on the bedroom. It seems to get derailed by the working week. Things to be addressed are jewellery, books, handbags, cosmetics and toiletries and wardrobes inc shoes. I think that will mean me dumping the shoes I’m continuing to wear despite part of the sole coming away.
Need to go in search of breakfast. Today I am grateful for

A shame about the shows but no point going if you are going to worry. Fingers crossed that one can be rescheduled. 🤞
Good luck with the bedroom! I'm still going through mine - I've got jewellery to sort out plus one chest of drawers among other things! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Nothing got done on the bedroom unless burning an incense cone counts. I had to go on site for just over an hour and I took a few client related calls. Otherwise we kept the kitchen cleared while having a home cooked dinner, I got all the ironing cleared including the six dark items that had to be re rinsed and hung out to dry to get rid of washing liquid stains. The ironing gives me a bit more flexibility when dressing. We also went through the freezer and have a meal plan through to Thursday though this has some flexibility to include dh’s lunches. Yesterday I bought us a take away lunch when returning from the client. They got the order wrong and, of course, we only found out once I made it home. The coffee that I ordered with it was good and all was consumed sitting out the back while the four legged fiend had a funny half hour.I had my weekly conversation with mr wii and no change there. Isn’t it ridiculous that I had convinced myself that the combination of my physio exercise with one sugar free day was going to make a difference. I really want to be in the 12s and it’s only 2 pounds away. It shouldn’t be as difficult as I make it.
right, today the plan is to be in bright and earlyish as I’ve promised to provide sausage rolls if the bakery is open.Today I am grateful for
