Fantastic result on blood sugar, and glad you've heard back from Asda too. You've reminded me that Tesco never bothered to reply to my email so I should chase that.
I'm now singing Bear Necessities in my head, thanks for that"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
Wow on the dropping BS. Well done you. You will soon be out of the obese categoryIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Resolver is the free complaints tool that you can click through to from mse. That’s the second time I’ve used it with good results. Slightly disappointed today as bs just gone down by 0.8. I need to try and focus on that but I want it all to be faster, which is pretty much the story of my life!Yesterday’s spends were zero as I brought lunch with me and no top up shops were needed. I also tackled one more bit of the bedroom. Only two more parts to go then it’s just into maintenance. Right, I need to get going. Today I am grateful for

BS is still going down, so good news! (I'm just as impatient though and always want quick returns).
I've used resolver a few times too, it's really handy."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
I am so annoyed. BS is up by .6 and I cannot see how. The only difference yesterday was that I probably drank less water and more tea but I can’t see how that would be a factor. That said, I checked and last time there were a few climbs that I could not understand. There had better be some weight loss tomorrow or I will struggle.
workwise, another bombshell hit and some external support who was due in yesterday didn’t show and when I followed up, advised they could do today instead. They were told that this does not suit me. This will put pressure on their company to meet a deadline but they need to accept that. I don’t so much mind rescheduling but I hate having to chase a no show.Right, porridge has been consumed and I have a client call in 20 mins. Happily it’s via an old fashioned telephone as I’m still not dressed for the day.
today I am grateful for

I assume BS is a bit like weight and you'll get random blips for no apparent reason. Hopefully it will be down again tomorrow.
Hope today goes well x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
I'm still trying to get the hang of blood sugar (decided to answer a question on a course by describing which body systems are involved in the processing of carbohydrate - I do have a tendency to get interested in rather unlikely things!) I wonder if @jwil has hit the nail on the head with 'random blips' - if weight can do it, why not bs? Someone at work went from a steady reading around 8 to 14 once - we never found out why.
You're still within 1 point difference over the last couple of days if I read you right - so perhaps it was a slight difference in exercise or something like that?
By the way, how nice to get two free plates when they are ones you really like. I hope the replacements for the others come through quickly.

I’m wondering if bs is affected by stress levels and the effects it has on your body. A relative of mine had an accident earlier this year - they’d never been diabetic. When bloods were taken, surgery had to be postponed as levels were sky high and the had to medicate to get them lower and relative was really poorly. Apparently relative is now diabetic which docs say was probably brought on by shock - but they don’t fit into type 1 or 2🤔 as don’t present typical to either. So after several months on insulin and a change of diet it’s now being managed orally with meds and docs are hoping in time will regulate itself back to normal levels. So if shock can cause that to happen I’m presuming when your body is stressed after a bad day it can cause blips in bs levels.....I’m only guessing here but makes sense to me🤔🤔January spends - £587.584
