thanks to you all for virtual cheerleading. The scores on the doors are my bs is down 1.1 today and mr wii advises I am down 3 lbs though the number is down by 4. I am overweight yay! As usual dh lost more, his was a 5lb loss. I know it’s likely that at best there will be a 1 to 2 lb loss between now and Sunday weigh in but that should mean that next week, I break a stone barrier that I don’t think has happened in quite a few years (possibly over 20). I really do appreciate you all and your feedback. I’m not sure I’d have made it beyond yesterday’s disappointing bs without your help. Big, big thank yous.
on other news, small progress was made with some client work and dh is taking Friday off from his main job to help out with a piece of work. I stayed late at the client yesterday as an issue arose. I was supposed to grab milk but the shop I was aiming for had closed so I went to a local co-op. It was my lucky day as I got significantly reduced chicken chunks that went into the chicken and mushroom omelette that was dinner. I also got some reduced price chicken slices that will go with my lettuce and carrot today for lunch. Beef medallions were on offer as were cheese, a multi buy of cooked meats that are good to grab a slice off to stave off hunger, and dh’s flavoured Pepsi max.Today our external support should be on site. Fingers crossed she shows or her boss may end up being embarrassed. Still, that isn’t my problem. I’m aware to update my signature.Today I am grateful for

milann said:I’m wondering if bs is affected by stress levels and the effects it has on your body. A relative of mine had an accident earlier this year - they’d never been diabetic. When bloods were taken, surgery had to be postponed as levels were sky high and the had to medicate to get them lower and relative was really poorly. Apparently relative is now diabetic which docs say was probably brought on by shock - but they don’t fit into type 1 or 2🤔 as don’t present typical to either. So after several months on insulin and a change of diet it’s now being managed orally with meds and docs are hoping in time will regulate itself back to normal levels. So if shock can cause that to happen I’m presuming when your body is stressed after a bad day it can cause blips in bs levels.....I’m only guessing here but makes sense to me🤔🤔
INOD, that's a fantastic result, well done! Hope things go well at the client today.
