yes next 5 years will be crucial. i think there will be even mre young disgruntled voters by that time wanting change and will vote labour so my bet is labour will win even under corbyn.

this means over the next few years is a good time to reduce exposure to uk. i am personally more invested in the US now.

5 years from now Corbyn will be in his 70s - so really?

Is there any chance the DUP will demand a cabinet post and be given one by May or will it just be cash for NI and a seat at the Brexit negotiations when the Irish border is being discussed.
Er, perhaps they could be given the post of Minister for Northern Ireland?
That should keep travel expenses down and they might already know something about the place.
I am just thinking out loud - nothing I say should be relied upon!
I do however reserve the right to be correct by accident.

Perhaps keeping unification of Ireland off the Brexit agenda will suffice.

Nothing is lost so long as they put in place a leader that can carry the public vote but as said before we dont live in a dictatorship power changes hands frequently

I voted for TM but she is just creepy and each time she uses her dim catch phrases it makes me cringe. Its for the left to use stupid sound bites

Public member: My pay is the same as 9 years ago what can you do for me?
TM: Tough !!!! there are no magic money trees
Correct Tory response: I feel your pain nurses do the hardest of jobs and ask for so little in return. We will work tirelessly to improve productivity to lower unemployment to increase both public and private sector pay and conditions. The truth is its not going to be quick or easy but only with hard work will we achieve a strong economy that can pay for higher wages better services and higher living standard.

    Lmao off today's posts....

May form a MINORITY Goverment, not done yet, and no guarantees in politics.

There is no way on the planet she gets her brexit now. Argue that all you like, she will not get it, period.

I expect she is fighting tooth and nail just to hold her position right now, never mind celebrating.

I've spoken to about 10 firm conservatives today and they are disgusted, one so angry he could hardly speak.

So do please laugh it up and celebrate now, as I doubt you will be later

    Trump is 70

Its a two party system, people wont see his age at the ballot
Unless he has physically or mentally deteriorated over the next 4.75 years which is possible but not likely imo (noticeably)

It may swing some swing voters, I would not want someone age 78 in power (73 years old + 5 years in power)

i do wonder what will happen to the pound. i can see it go to parity. we have a huge CA deficit and this is set to grow bigger even more. risk of reduced investment into the uk as well.

Even if they replace her, they do not need to call another GE the new leader can continue until mid 2022

Makes you wonder what the Corbyn win what have done. Lower pound boosts competitiveness though. Not good for those remitting money home .

Your banking on the minority though. That is no way guaranteed.

Scottish Tory leader, remain tories, dup, and cabinet ministers that are not happy at all.

Tories expected 65% of the vote, they got 42% they are not smiling.
