So Islamist terrorists are freedom fighters now are they?

Tell me, when Yazidi girls were being rounded up for mass exploitation of unimaginable savagery, what were these heroic freedom fighters doing to save them? Where are the Luton protests against this barbaric behaviour? They protest about cartoons.

These freedom fighters protested around the world when a cartoon was published. Yet when little girls are married off to thier old man rapist, or women have thier heads cut off in public in an ordinary high street, not a peep.

Sod thier rights I couldn't give a damn.

Islam is a political all encompassing way of life, not simply a religion.

The only absolute Monarchies on Earth are in the Islamic world, and utterly brutal.

The left has denied us the right to have an uncomfortable conversation about Islam itself. Maybe the time at last is comming when we stop being silenced and conned by the left.

Islam holds its people back and for that reason alone it should be more rapidly replaced by a secular system.

What conversation is the left holding you back from you can say anything you like but you have no solutions to the problem so have no reason to speak so don't blame 'the left'

My hope was that with time all religions would decline. But Turkey has shown that no only is that not happening but the reverse can happen and religion take hold of secular countries.

One alternative was to do what they promised.

They have been. Still a work in progress.

Any foreigner convicted of terrorist attacks should be immediately deported,if they bleat that they would not be safe then we should point out that we would not be safe with them in the country. If they are British then they should be made to spend a lifetime in jail, but they should be forced to work for that entire lifetime in the most demeaning job available.

As far as I am concerned terrorists immediately lose the right to any so called "human rights", those rights should apply only to those who do not commit atrocities like this.

I've got a much idea than deporting them, and it kills two stones with one bird. Instead of the Tory party trying to re-introduce fox hunting they should legalise 'convicted terrorist hunts' win, win, everyone is happy! But I don't think the dogs should tear them up like they do foxes at the end though, the victims' families should be given first option of that privilege.
Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop

In case you can't remember they promised to clear the deficit by 2015 and then 2020 (and a couple of the years in-between).

A work in progress wasn't the promise.

its the left who are saying we shouldnt be racist or islamophobes etc etc. well it is islam that is causing this problem as it is brainwashing the young muslim into doing these terrible things.

this means the solution must start with the muslim community to prevent teach that certain parts of islam (the violent parts) should not be followed. i am not sure if this is being done but i imagine the left prevent from this sort of discussion from happening.

we need to desperatly identify and agree that it is islam that is the problem and the muslim community need to do more or even more then they are doign as clearly it is not working.

with regards to religion - well religion is only a tool. of course it is all BS however it is still used to keep people sane. it gives people purpose and a meaning to life. i think even athiests eventually will believe in some form of religion or at least beliefs that includes some form of a "god", when they are on their death bed most likely.

its a tool that has been used for thousands of years and unless there is another tool to replace it, religion isnt going away anytime soon.

Maybe religion gives people some comfort near to death but that is no reason to perpetuate myths. (Non beliefs of a personal god can also bring comfort and understanding so I'm not sure religion should claim a monopoly here)

Religions were more a way to band into big tribes. Not long ago there were no true or easily defined nation Lines and so religious Lines were where the boundaries were. This is still true for Islam at least it appears that way.

The problem with this very large tribe is that it has a lot of power (domestically) so its not easy to leave the tribe and impossible to set up a new tribe to challenge it.

For example I know some 'Muslims' who are non believers. But around other muslins they don't make this known. And this in in the UK. They say it would be impossible in a Muslim country as they would be discriminated against and wouldn't be able to get a job etc so when they visit their countries its a charade they pray they talk the talk and they pretend.

This is ultimate power. Akin to Stalin or the dictators in N.Korea. there is no solution to dismantling this tribe. I don't know what will happen. I had thought even the Muslim countries would give up religion in time but I know feel that won't happen for much longer than I had thought.

Most of the victims of the terrorism by Islamic extremists are Muslims. Please do not try to attach any blame or responsibility on to Muslims. It's just as offensive as calling Catholics terrorists because of bombing campaigns by the IRA.

but if islam states to be violent to non believers then surely its the "good" muslim community who needs to reach out to prevent the violence.

And the lib dems promised to not increase tuition fees.
And before that Gordon brown told us that there was no more boom or bust.
