have you handed out any CVs to local shops?

Well done on not gambling but its very easy to slip into old habits so people here are just being cauious

Ignore the dating stuff for now as you've stated you're not interested in that so focus on getting a job and bringing in some income then that stuff can come later

with the drama group, congrats on taking the step to try new things but if you feel the group is not for you try just a local one thats not aimed for people with learning difficulties

Stop kicking yourself about this KFC job, you can imagine what a wonderful life it would have been working there with this girl but potentially it could have been hell and she might have been an idiot.....

The only problem i have is i can get nervous. I don't lose my temper often, this was the first time i have got angry for two years. I look normal and sound normal so i don;t need to go to some cafe where they don't look normal. This is the problem, i have high functioning Autisim.

People say go on the undateables and i reply back to them, i look normal, i don't want a ugly girlfriend who looks weird and can't even speak properly because i can

If you see yourself in this way, you have no excuse for you 'flipping out'

I don't actually want to stop with the drama group, they might not be on my level but i am actually very good friends with the care workers who take the other people there. I like the group and all have them have fantastic character and i enjoy helping them, i think they would miss me if i was gone.

I am interested in the dating aspect, i would love to find a partner soon i just need to build my confidence up and start getting more social, i am trying to lose more weight and doing pretty well with that and i am starting to go to church again.

For someone that claims to have low self confidence you have a very high opinion of yourself!

And also it's a really bad idea - or at least, not a very good idea - to go out with people you work with. Certainly a bad idea to PLAN to do this. Much better to see this as two separate things - getting yourself to the position where you can get a satisfying job without risk of meltdown, and improving your social life to find friendship and romance. :)

I like to think i can do these things. I don't have much confidence around females i mean look i have not even hugged a girl or even held a females hand in public let alone kissed one. And yes i can do alot of great things, i don't get scared doing things on my own, i can travel to places on my own, i am very independant in alot of levels. I just need to learn these last few life skills to make me a complete person
