    GOALS
    Aperire
    16 NSDs
Plan - need to plan everything
Budgets Food £100 (all mine + some for DS3 and Beloved), Travel £20, Extras £40 (transferred unspent from last month as shelf fixings are going to take a chunk of it)
Rest and recuperate - lots of it
    Invite - discuss with mum
Love my garden - setting seeds / tidy/ throw out
Clutter - going for 465, 27 for yesterday not including rubbish and recycling.

    List for the week
Following my counsellor's suggestion of 5 things to do + 2 fun things for me. Actually have 6.
Three of them are 5- 10 minute jobs (provided people/ websites co-operate).
Mum's curtains is a couple of hours for step 1 + (approx 12 more hours + measuring and pinning but doesn't need to be completed this week, I think)
The other 2 are bedroom and kitchen which are all-encompassing - bedroom now holds business and household accounts/ filing/ multiple wip/ fabric stash/ clothes/ bedding and miscellaneous. Will need to break it down and tackle one bit at a time (taking random bits out of a carrier bag of paper for now, disposing of as many as possible).

    Annual Goals/ April targets
    Health
    Step up walking.
Eat properly - start with veg and pulses in stock.
    Breathe Sleep Relax Garden
    Finance
End of year business paperwork (make a start)
Household finance (DDs set up). Spend thoughtfully. Make a plan for future glasses replacement when we know if new ones are needed now.
    Work/ Career
    Just plodding along.
The TED talks yesterday revealed that my biggest problem is work in progress (or not as some pre-dates my business and is therefore more than 9 years old). Need to review these, no more than 3 in one session (to prevent getting overwhelmed), make up a 17 in 17 list (projects to finish) and donate/ ditch the rest. Finishing off/ making up completed work is important too.
Small projects to use up scraps (otherwise they get lost/ dirty/ crumpled).
    Grooming
    Tackle eyebrows
    Start using sun cream daily
    Embrace Technology
    Keep at it
    Family
See mum weekly and enjoy the time with her.
Contact (meal?) with boys (not all at once)
Cousins - write/ send a card? (forgot to swap numbers at the funeral)
    Friends/ Social
    Crafts.
    Local History
Film Club - people are starting to speak to me/ recognise me. Couple more afternoon films I would like to see - different crowd.
Other? Think about it, don't take on more yet
    Personal Relationships
    Still on hold
    Spiritual
    Daily gratitudes
    Fresh Air
    Relaxing Activities
    Yoga (at home)
    Immediate Environment
I have a basic self-care list for when time are hard (get out of bed, have a bath etc.). I need a basic house care list so that when my energy dips, the basics still get done (by rote/ on automatic pilot/ sleepwalking). SIMPLIFY. DECLUTTER. SHORTCUTS. Get their stuff back in their room.

Tired now. Going to put more things on the line to dry and have a bath, with pampering miosturising after.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

    Yesterday was a NSD so I'm at 1/16. It's a start.

We went to visit the new extension at the wedding venue today and had lunch there - that's £26 out of the entertainment budget for the month (budget is £50) but it was a very delicious meal that we had.

I've blitzed downstairs - put the washing on our tiny line, and I've taken the garden set out. Spent an hour outside reading with a cup of coffee. Very nice.

Also did a small shop in Asda but sandwich things - spent £17.99 and that should last the week (hopefully).

The realisation that Monday is soon approaching has hit me though so I best get lunch stuff prepped. I've only got 9 work days left until I'm off though - I'm sure I can cope with that!!

    Afternoon Turtles

Had a very productive day today.

All the bills are paid or, at least, the money is set aside to do so. Did all of the washing and most of the ironing and the general tidying. Walked to the shops and bought what we needed as well as 4 packets of YS mince at 90p a packet. I always like getting cheap mince as we use so much of it. Tended to my house plants which were looking a little the worse for wear after my two week absence.

I’ve found a couple of tops lurking in the cupboard which I know I’m never going to wear again (hardly been worn anyway) so I’ll take those to the Charity Shop when it opens tomorrow.

Have managed to tick something off all my many to do lists although it seems that every time I tick something off I add another two.

I’ve done a meal plan for this week using what we have in the freezers but it will have to be a bit flexible. The other two members of the household are suffering from sore throats and hacking coughs and can’t face food.

My sister in law wasn’t in so I’ve left a message saying I’ll phone her tomorrow.

Just sitting here now relaxing with a cup of tea (no alcohol) watching Dalziel and Pascoe.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Gorgeous day here bit cold first thing.

Washed bedding all out on line by 9am and ironing done. Usual Sunday walk around NT garden got there and then dd rang so met me there eventually so spent 4 hrs there with her and baby. 12.5k steps done.

Ate leftover takeaway when got home with wine in sunshine.

Spent today bought 1/2 price ham in farm food centre looks lovely for £4 and in date until 15th April cook later and have for work with salad this week.

Decluttered t shirt to dd and she loves it. I liked it but look top heavy in it. Stretchy material she's a size 10 and I am 16. Proper rock chick one gutted it's gone .

Afternoon tea was lovely and I officially will not need to eat again today.
Managed to declutter 2 items from the house as I said I would. And my mam and sister wouldn't let me chip in for the meal out so I've bagged nsd number 2 as well. Happy days :D
  • decluttered mine and my daughters bedroom. My five month old is now sharing with my 3 year old. I decluttered a several things from my bedroom but, as I did a few trips I was class it as two. I did also manage my second NSD.

Everyone is doing fab with my clutter challenge.

Today I 'helped' DH go through his wardrobe (as no space for work t-shirts), he got rid of a large bagful of clothes but did not free up enough space for work uniform so I have moved some drawers about and they will have to be folded rather than hung.
Will count the bag as 1 thing.

    Today has been a NSD.

Managed to get quite a few loads of washing dry outside and have also been up to the allotment to dig some beds - it was actually too hot. I think I might need to rethink when I visit the allotment at weekends, currently it is in the morning from about 9.30am but am now thinking earlier would be better or even early evening but not sure yet.

    NSD #2.

Did the budget and am currently spending 8% less than my income (including sving £100 per month). Over rather than underestimated so some slack but know I could do better safety margin.

Today I am grateful for lovely weather, easy but not adventurous food from supplies and some progress on goals.
