I cannot actually believe this, but I am poorly again for the second weekend in a row. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong to keep getting sick but I am making the conscious decision today to get on with getting healthier diet wise. I'm fed up of being fat and unhealthy. I could manage fat if I wasn't constantly thinking about my worn out joints or getting diabetes. Onwards.
Other than that, a usual Saturday - football, visit bestie, tutoring, minimal housework. Just about to hoover upstairs and then settle down with my crochet for the evening...
Not a nsd because I needed mushrooms so I have spent £2.50 at the grocers (they were doing punnets of raspberries at 2 for £1.50 so I had to do it)
Not giving up

Time to take back control

Today I am grateful for a text from dd's dance teacher confirming the new start time so we didn't arrive 1 hour early, for dd enjoying her new classes, for an enjoyable chat with a couple of mum's there, for dd having a quiet afternoon with a friend, for getting the back mowed, for watching dd's tricks on her climbing frame, for my frozen banana+ almond butter +vanilla essence making yummy 'ice cream', for finishing my book, for a quick and simple tea, for making a start on my next batch of bunny-making (I cut out a gazillion over the recent weeks at mum's but couldn't actually sew any of them as I couldn't get her machine to work!)NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Today I am grateful for beautiful weather, for getting the washing dried, for celery, for entertaining books, for old films, for easy watching that makes sewing time fly, for beautiful inspiring colours of thread, for my games (even if the little forest animals get themselves into more pickles each day), for finding something to wear (2 dresses and 2 nightdresses drying on the line, jog pants thrown down for washing), for plodding. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0

Hi all. Sorry been mia again but slowly getting my money mojo back
Have sold a bike sat in the attic for £150, got back onto doing my surveys and not far off a £10 voucher on ipsos and £4 on yougov. Bought a couple of maternity tops off ebay for £7 - bargain! Struggling to fit in most of my clothes now.
Went out for the day with parents and little man and took a packed lunch and flask of coffee. They suggested eating out on the way homebut I said I thought little man was too tired already ( he was knackered ) and got a 6 inch subway to take home - still spending but way cheaper than a meal out and it was getting too late to cook tea.
Been sorting through old baby clothes and working out what we'll need for the next one - very littleStill got like new coats, shoes, etc for every age range. Need a new snuzpod mattress and that's it really. Not got many toys but will see if we get bought someand then look at charity shops.
Our gardens coming along nicely. Got our weedproof membrane down. Going to get the stones once next payday arrives and that's the top parking section done. I've been given some pumpkin plants from a work mate and my mums got some herb/salad/flower seedlings ready for when I want them. I am going to splash out on some strawberry plants this week as little man loves them and I think he'll enjoy watching them grow then eating them.
I have neon pink running trainers with neon yellow laces :rotfl: Not been used for running for a while though. It's def uplifting to have that splash of colour
Today I'm grateful for helpful parents, a gorgeous, happy little boy, my hubbies hot chocolate making and beautiful parks andcountryside.1 debt vs 100 days -

Jo blogs - wow! 21NSDs
I'd forgotten it was St George's day today. Might see if a park nearby has anything on. Our plans are tip run, buying bulk washing up liquid, buying pregnancy pillow ( didn't keep the last one as it was so bulky to store ( sold it on though ) and then to the inlaws for Sunday lunch and little man can play outside with his cousin in this weather  Iron some clothes I'm going to sell on ebay so they look nicer in pics and get those listed.
Not a nsd but all needed, no frivolities - I'll be taking a flask to the park if we go.
Have a lovely day everyone.1 debt vs 100 days -
