I'm with you La E and YL I've never hidden it from my DH but I've never told him either :o Great savings La E :T

Tomorrow is payday so I always double check my accounts the day before - was a minor anomaly but just because one company had taken a DD a day early and another due today not until tomorrow - only £3 difference so all ok. Took a few minutes to work out though :p

    Today will look like this:
Washing out that was done overnight, drying on line
Another in and that will go out aswell
    Check banking, surveys, FPL
    Pay survey money to CC
Go it 1kea and a) not spend anything and b) price up wardrobes that we do have the money for ;)
Pop to look at a van for DH on the way to ^^ - we would need to get a loan for this but in the same way as Foxgloves did last year this is the means to an end and we would be overpaying it massively at every opportunity to reduce the length of time we had borrowings for.
Working from home so must get lots done before we go out
Sausages out of freezer for tea from meal plan - lack of food buying this week is working well
Look at getting an online meat delivery for next week - shall check out Campells Dawn
Quick tidy round - vacuum upstairs if I have time
Some sort of free exercise later - maybe yoga on youtube

Right, off to get on with things. Purples :D

La E, that IS my idea of a big night :D

DS has eaten my lunchtime sandwich during the night, only two left so I left them for them. They hadn't however eaten the raspberries I took out of the freezer last night so breakfast is still intact!

Having done my fridge/freezer inventory last night I'm going to go through and make a little list of anything I need to make any of the items into a meal. I'm not planning on doing my supermarket shop until after my table top sale on Saturday so I can use whatever cash I make instead of frittering it away (I don't have a bank nearby to pay it in.)

    Happy moneysabimg everyone :)
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    Morning all :)
We are forecast rain here, so need to think about when to put the washing machine on / whether washing can go out. Didn't have a full load, rained early (though was nice later), decided to leave it till tomorrow.
Apart from that, I have / will:
Free HG fruit from freezer for breakfast instead of bought fresh fruit :)Done
Quick tidy up after GD yesterday Done
    Dog walk later Done
A bit more stocktaking for my business - managed to make a start yesterday  Done a bit more
Also took a couple of bits down to my sales unit this morning, to be confronted with big spaces where things had sold :T so I took another lot down this afternoon :) Not big money, but it all helps, right?
Think about doing a car boot sale at the weekend - depends on the weather. It would be nice to get rid of some stuff!
Check seedlings Done, watered the ones that needed it
Meals from stores Done, jacket potatoes, salad and cold sliced ham for dinner today :)
Check banks Oops, not done, will have to wait till tomorrow now
Check for surveys A couple for onepoll, only about 55p to go to payout now, so they are getting scarcer....
Relist ebay items that are ending today / try and list a couple of new things. It is very slow atm :(Relisting done but no new things listed - did sell a nice vintage necklace for £15 though :)
Not planning any spends! Fail, OH ate the rest of the bread, so had to buy a loaf. Could have made one in the BM really, but we like the own brand / premium stuff from Iceland atm, and it is only£1 a loaf :)

    Morning all,

Feeling really groggy today. I know its the medication, it happened last time, just can't remember how long it took to pass. I was in bed by 9.30 and feel like I haven't slept at all. I also forgot how it intensifies the symptoms for a while so I am a bit of an agitated mess. Still, the sun is shining here and it's almost the end of the month!

    Today:
    *Bit of housework.
    *Washing mountain
    *All meals from home
*Work out best way forward with mobile contract.

I realised my mobile contract is coming to an end, thought I had another year, so determined to sort out a good SIM only deal.

Hope you all have a great day. :D

    Morning Campers,
Rain has stopped play in the garden so have popped in for coffee & will move my efforts to the greenhouse. Today's frugal efforts:
*Free fitness digging over & clearing 2 smallish beds & replanting gaps with free plants I've divided up.
*Turkey soup today from freezer....which I made from our Christmas turkey.
*Lunch will involve using up a few bits & pieces from the fridge.
*Write shopping list as mr f has volunteered to pop to Aldi first thing tomorrow before we go out.
*Knit more of B-in-law's birthday socks.
*Put voucher stash in my bag ready for city centre trip tomorrow..Not really planning any significant purchases but you can bet I'll spot an amazing bargain if all my vouchers are sitting at home in a drawer!
*Also remember to put some cash from our Leisure Piggy in my purse as we are meeting a friend for something to eat.
*Think about Premier Inn offer. It seems we could have 2 nights in a place we love over my birthday weekend for £109 (including breakfast). I know mr f would really like to go but there would also be spending money (at least for lunch & evening meals) to throw in plus cattery fees. I'm also aware that we both said we'd prioritise reducing our loan this year & just have 2 camping trips. This has already grown to 2 festival tickets (admittedly only for 1 day instead of usual weekend) & 1 week in a holiday cottage, so I'm torn between being a killjoy (but trying to pull back to what we both agreed) & taking advantage of a good offer.
Will go & pot up some seedlings in the greenhouse & think about it some more.
    Bye for now,
    F x

Just popping on quickly to say - well done you lot - you are wonderful

Angelpye - it took about 6 weeks for my meds to kick in properly and then about another 6 wks for the tremors to stop (one of the side effects I get). Sorry and all that - but it has been worth is - I get to go back to work 10th April.

    So today's wee listy
    Clean house (including stripping bedding)
Meal plan for as long as possible using fridge stuff
    Need to make some soup
    Washing & ironing
    Couple of apps for DH
Wee foray into the garage - I have a couple of bottles to go to the bottle bank & have just remembered there is a case of beer in the garage - BBF 2008 :eek: So will empty these bottles & take to bottle bank too :o

    Have a good day y'all

Managed to do everything on my list :T albeit I did buy 3 candles in 1kea :o only small ones though. Plus wardrobes are going to be far cheaper than I thought :T:T excellent.

Van had sold so no spend there :p we are still actively looking though.

Hoovered upstairs minus the thin tool on the vacuum. DH STILL hasn't found it from when he lost its when he was vacuuming a few weeks ago. He said don't worry I'll have just put it somewhere it'll turn up  I can't understand when there is a place for it in the vacuum why it just doesn't go there. What am I missing? (Other than a short hose for the vacuum :rotfl:)

Anyway, refuse to buy another, it'll turn up somewhere and then I'll have to do all the edges in one back breaking go :o

3 lines of washing dried despite an early shower that gave the first one an extra rinse :rotfl: lots of fresh air in the house too. Right off to cook tea.
  • Hi everyone

Oooh DNMS - you are wild! :D It's amazing how you can get your kicks in an MSE fashion :rotfl:
Nice to hear it's not just me, Yorkshire. :o:)

ha ha ha! It's not deliberate, just something I keep doing. Having it on my list about a week before it needs to be paid and then keep forgetting!
Morning :) phew have just finally made my cc payment! I love to take it as scarily close to the payment date as I can get it :o

received £110 incentive for changing banks :T

doubt I'll get much done today but would like to:

    * [STRIKE]all meals from stores - need to grab something out for lunch[/STRIKE]
    * submit expenses expecting around £100 back next month plus £70 overtime :D
    * [STRIKE]check/water seedlings[/STRIKE]
    * would like to pot on some seedlings
    * have been given some paving slabs so might take them to the allotment this evening nope
    * [STRIKE]make lunches for me and madam[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]unload car before going to work[/STRIKE]

Ok that'll do! Happy days guys x

am tired! These early mornings are killing me! Might try to stay awake a bit later tonight in the hope I'll get up later tomorrow

Came home and the house was a tip so am tidying and cleaning. Luckily madam is happily engrossed in her new lol doll so that has given me some time

picked up a skirt and a dress in the M&$ sale saving $44.02!:T

also picked up a few ys items :D

gosh I want to go to bed now...

angelpye I was going to say after a couple of weeks you should start to see an improvement in the initial side effects, clearly that wasn't 1LL or Clootiesmum's experiences. Stick with it though as it's a relatively short time. although I do understand it's retched x

Thanks guys, I know I need to stick with it but it really is wretched. I have been so lazy today and ended up with sausages, mash and peas from the freezer - now have a ton of washing up from the day. Night do it in a bit as feeling a bit better before I take the next pill and it starts all over again. I will stick with it though. Hope you are all having a lovely evening.

    Hi all

angelpye hope you are feeling OK. I have had a strange day, ended up covering a meeting for my boss and not sure that I did a very good job of it. One of the joys of suffering with anxiety is over-analysing things so I need to just let it go. I did my best (I think).

We have been given 2 dozen eggs by our neighbourly farmer who is over run with them. I am grateful and I love eggs but think I will be sick of them soon. DS2 and DH wont eat them unless they are in something. Omelette anyone?

I might make a couple of cakes at the weekend and freeze them.
