  • Good evening all, hope everyone is ok. Haven't been on since last week as I made a new log in and couldn't remember it to post.

I've been trying to keep up with the list as much as possible but when I look round now I can't see what I've done. Doesn't help that I spent hours scrubbing the floors and with 3 labradors and a mud bath of a garden, it's filthy again.
Kiddies did their rooms last weekend, bedding, dusting and everything so hoping to be lucky this week to and going to concentrate on downstairs tomorrow as we're supposed to have a visit from the home education officer. I have rang to let her know we possibly have slap cheek in the house so not sure if she will arrive.

We have a skip at the moment as half the sofa collapsed so going to give the room a scrub while it's emptier and before the new on arrives (still 6 weeks away).

Right off to bed as need to ring doctors first thing.

    Hi girlies

Thanks for all your hugs and support :heartpuls:heartpuls:heart:

ATB - you are a treasure and I'd jump at the chance of a break but with three ridgebacks, two cats, twenty chickens and a tank full of fish, I might struggle...thank you, thank you, thank you though xxxx

Still in pain, but things are easing. Not telling DH that just yet :rotfl:

I hope your writer's block dissolves today Iona and you can get back into it. Flinging mutley-chewed moccasins your way, just in case....

Sorry to hear your car is poorly Fayolle but good news regarding your DD :T

Arrrg! It was a man who invented mornings, right? Don't feel like I've slept well at all however I am up and decluttered my first cuppa and stuck WM on.
Off to get ready for paid stuff and make sure everyone has got what they need before I go!

Morning all, hope you're all ok. It's Friday!

All I've done today is finances as it's my pay day. Speaking of which, my decision yesterday was to say NO to changes at the paid stuff. I've gone from one boss to six in a year and was being asked to take something else on. Said no, suddenly my role no longer exists so waiting to see what happens next, but feel so much happier and liberated if you know what I mean.

Will take a look at the list now. Oh, once I've washed the breakfast dishes.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Hiya

I checked the hutch this morning, after a good bleachy scrub n soak yesterday and it looks much better. Think I will have to treat the back again but it seems ok. It's nearly dried out which I hope will finish before it rains later  I want to get the new cover on it...

Am going to have a quick whizz through all downstairs today, someone coming about blinds later and I've got a wash on. Will also do some more homework. Wrote in my college journal about the Ri0 Ferdinand program that was on - what an uplifting documentary - wasn't sure I'd be able to watch but so glad I did.

Last day of school today, thankfully. Think both mine are in need of a rest and next week that's exactly what we'll be doing! No early starts for us after Sunday (we've still got dancing and football this weekend).

Homework done vibes for ionafan and job soothing vibes for Jazee

Fluffy high heeled mules lobbed in ionafans direction. Get to it girl:D

Bossy glad the hutch looks better.

Dizzy glad you are feeling a bit more perky.

Sorry to anyone else I've missed. Life has been going from bad to worse this week. Please feel free to skip the rant below:

I spent 2 days wrestling with IT at work - getting NO actual work done. Yesterday I was hoping to now work from home as we had a remote network set up finally (after a 9 hr day plus driving), someone hacked my e-mail. 2000 e-mails. All BT can say is 'change your e-mail address'.

Obviously this isn't going to happen overnight, so I still have to deal with sifting through all the !!!!!! etc that is now going into my account.

As a result I couldn't boot up my outlook as the set-up is all linked so couldn't access work emails.

Today I am cooking for guests - vegan curry and vegan brownies done. I've just overcooked the non-vegan brownies, but they will be ok with custard:rotfl:

I've been eating crap and doing no exercise since getting back from my non-skiing holiday. Roll on April - I start again.

First I need to fly and clear up from the aforesaid two weeks of chaos. Oh and DH's car is a write off.

    BAAAH HUMBUG.

    [...dodges even more fluffy mules...]

    Thanks, everyone :A:A:A
I've done a bit of rewriting and a lot of rejigging and I'm back up to 750 words in under 3 hours - that's half way through the first part of the assignment :)
    Keep 'em coming!

    DH has a little list!
I've just overcooked the non-vegan brownies, but they will be ok with custard:rotfl:

Just say you put in too much cocoa - they will still taste good :p

[...drinks last slurp of :coffee: and gets head down again...]

(((Hugs))) FBO. When I had trouble with my email account I set up an automatic forwarding system so that it all went to Gmail, which thoughtfully sorts quite a lot of it into Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates and Forums. I also give that address to websites and so on when they won't let me access their services and I know I can't be bothered with them. It's been an absolute godsend and I don't use it until I need to access the original account but can't get in because the provider's servers seem to crash periodically. (It's still the best system for me, despite that.) I seem to have over 500 unread emails in there and not one of them matters, so it's saved me a shedload of time! Horrible for you, though, so more (((hugs))) and don't worry about the weight thing - that'll come off when the sun comes out and we all feel our spirits lift. Now's just depressing and grey, so brownies are in order.

OH is out and I'm in a minor strop about something so I'm using the energy to declutter. Very cathartic.
    Better is good enough.
