Morning,
Been keeping on top of dailies, though washing up with a poorly shoulder is interesting. Am out of the sling and performing all kinds of interesting exercises in the name of physio!
So far this morning I've emptied the draining board, and maidens of all clean and dry items, watered and deadheaded all plants and now off to write a shopping list for later. Luckily got DH at home so he can ferry me round as I'm unable to drive atm.0 -
Morning All
So far:
- WM x2 blowing on the line
- Unloaded DW
- WUDUPA
- Washing dog's bedding at the moment
- School run
- Loads of work emails sent and work invoices paid for DH
- A load of old greetings cards in the recycling bin
- Beds made
Need to go and soak the manky shower head in bleach now, then have a cuppa before I clean the woodburner. We are having new carpets fitted tomorrow and I can't blinkin' wait.
Back later xxMFW

Hi all x
So far today I haven't done any flying  I have chucked DD to school, DS1 and OH to work and DS2 to church for the food day (can never remember the name of it but if you're hungry after the service there is a meal) he goes to help out when it's not a work day. After that I fell asleep, it's called staying up till after 3 watching a film.
Anyway since opening my eyes I have phoned agency regarding some work or lack thereof.
Just decluttering a cuppa and then I will square this place up can't have people getting in thinking I've done nothing all day :rotfl:
Before I go *chucks a harry Potter slipper at iona *I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Morning!
Where has today gone? So I had a coffee with one of the school mums, popped to @ldi for some veg, did some college work and now I've just dragged the outdoor hutch out of its tarpaulin and round the back to discover it's covered in mould :eek::shocked:
I've given it a good soaking with mould and mildew remover, and bleachand I'll rinse it off later. Obviously wasn't properly covered. Concerned I may need to buy a new one when this has barely been used. Annoyed with myself for letting a certain someone sort it for me - usually ends up costing me ££s in the long run with help from that quarter...
It may be fixable, though. At least it's supposed to stay dry through till tomorrow afternoon.
Just got gym and soccer kits together and scrambled a bit of portable tea for them.
Had a quick tidy and sweep around earlier, that's all really.Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
I hope the outdoor hutch sorts itself out, Bossy.
Dizzy, just (((hugs)))
YL I hope you don't still feel so put upon. I know how that feeling creeps up on you and how rotten it feels. (((Hugs)))
Fluffy, diamonte-encrusted with six-inch-heel mules heading your way, Ionafan. OH is away next week after all, so I'm going to ask next door to have Kelpie for the day so I have enjoy the Flymeet without having to worry about him.
I'm plotting what's being done next week, once I wave OH off at the station on Saturday. He'll be gone a whole six days. Much flinging will take place. Not having him asking questions and prodding heaps of useable stuff will shorten the time taken by about half.Have decluttered another 1.5lbs and have my second slimmer of the month sticker. Am teacher's pet:rotfl::rotfl:
Huge congratulations!
Much tidying and keeping on top of things is happening, but my Room of Doom is getting really bad again. Having said that, the In Tray is down to a few pieces of paper, as opposed to a 6" stack of time-consuming complications, so real progress is being made.
I scrubbed the yard today which looks considerably better, watered the birch tree down the road with 60 litres and weeded it, so that's done for another week. Bless it, it was described as 'crispy' last year by a tree expert, so basically all but dead, but it came into leaf three days ago which only happened because I watered it daily, and faithfully for three months. I felt like hugging it and I'm not someone who anyone would normally describe as a tree-hugger.
Thanks for Pain-Be-Gone vibes for Kelpie, Lamewolf. They're working and I'm very, very grateful for anything that makes him happy. *mwah*Better is good enough.0 -
Bossy, let it dry out first, then 'scrub' it over with a hard brush and see if it comes off.
If that fails see if a local handyman or similar can make you a new piece from marine wood, to save buying a new hutch.

Bossy hope the hutch can be salvaged, needs some sun on it but not sure that will happen!
And HB loving your tree story, hope it survives.
Tired, long day at the paid stuff. Ran around with the hoover before work, mopped the floors, scrubbed the bathroom, emptied the dw and put a load of towels in. DS has made me an omelette which was sweet of him after our disagreement earlier in the week.
Hows it going Iona?0 -
Hi all x
Managed a quick tidy up before the minions all descended.
Two more bags of detritus chucked from my room.
I have a shift tomorrow pleased about that, better than nothing. So I will be in later tomorrow.
Better get to my bed otherwise I will be crabbit in the morning!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
((Hugs)) all round to all those who need them. I've read through but not retaining much atm. Feeling a bit over whelmed, but it will pass. Flying however has taken a back seat. My car died yesterday in Mr L's car park....shopping locked in the boot and car firmly refused to unlock to let me in! The car is now (finally) safely in the garage for them to work out what's wrong, but certainly won't be back until some time next week. It's been the latest in a long line of things breaking, and going to be a bit of a pain, let alone the expense.
I took DD for her regular check up today, so the good news is at she has a 4 month sign off until the next one. In the scheme of things, much more important than a car.
Promise to be back on track next week. X0 -

Very little of what I have already written makes sense now, and I've included far too many quotes.
I can see myself having to start again almost from scratch tomorrow.
Off to bed now in the hope of clearing my brain.
Sorry about your car, Fayolle, but I'm very pleased for you re: your daughter's health check :T:T0
