    Evening! I'm in - thanks Natty :A

I go away a week on Friday and Dad will be coming round to feed the ratties :D At the moment though, there is no way he's coming in the house - it is a state :o:o Hopefully, this will be the motivation I need to get stuff done!

Really not happy with work right now and am in that 'got so much to do that I don't know where to start and can't focus so the list just gets longer' place :(

Must just focus on the fact that it's only 8 more working days before my hols :D

    Valli - congrats :D

Hugs for all who want or need one xx

YorkshireLass I can barely swim and don't particularly enjoy the water:D. I'm a masochist who has to participate in order to spend time with DH - the army and jumping out of perfectly serviceable airplanes being the other options:eek:

Well done to all slimmers, I've put weight on I'm afraid, despite exercising much more over the last few weeks.

Keep at it :) I joined SW in January, and also started running. My weight was up and down, and it was really disheartening. Then I started seeing losses (except last week - but that was down to a weekend of cake!!)
Thanks for the welcome back :)

Not done much tonight except 5K along the seafront - in daylight!!

Well done to slimmers. I'm hopeless; considering I go away at the end of May, you'd think I would get some sense of urgency although if I eat what Valli eats, sounds like a couple of weeks should do it! I wish....didn't help matters by going to the Mexican this eve with MIL for a belated Mother's day. I had hoped - from the calorie point of view - to miss it as I was due a student. However she cancelled, so I was rather easily persuaded to join Mr N and MIL.

Froddington yes it's disheartening when the list gets longer. Just do the next thing in the world that has to be done and don't focus on anything else till that is done. Apart from the prospect of lemurs.

    Back to report writing now.

  • Hi all x

Well I had an empty washing basket till everyone came home! DD has been to dancing, dinner has been made, ate and the aftermath cleared up. I did an online search for jobs and filled out an application, took over 1hr:eek: to complete the questions it went on and on.

I will probably be up half the night as I fell asleep while doing my meditation exercises due to one of my nice neighbours waking me at 5 am.

Off to get into my jammies and pretend I'm tired!

Valli well done and remember to take an apple for the teacher with you to class.;)

Morning all. Hope you're all ok and any poorlies feel better soon. Well done on the weight loss Valli.

Hospital went ok yesterday, we're at the stage of lifelong medication now to manage pain and symptons (well DH is!), so more explorations over the next few weeks while we find out what works for him. Hopefully it won't take too long as the constant pain is wearing him down.

This morning I have dusted the dusty bits in the LR. Now to look at the list.

    Have a great day everyone.

Oh dear Jazee I hope they manage to get him into a steady state xxx

Very bleary eyed here woke up thinking it was 6:40, but I was looking at the alarm time, not the actual time, which was 4:40. Was up and in the bathroom before it dawned on me - that it wasn't dawn yet, lol.

Think I got another hour, but feel rather out of sorts and tripped the alarm when I came down - at least I know it works :o;);)

Kids are rolled in blankets on opposite sofas watching Labyrinth, will get them dressed in half an hour. Waiting for Mr A delivery too, so tidied fridge while I had coffee. Think I need another tbh.

Today I want to cut the grass, visit the blinds shop and do some more homework - got quite a bit done yesterday although I'm sure some of it was rambling, they seem to like that, though???

I'm putting the kettle on again <yawn>

Hugs to all who need/want them.
My bracelet has returned. I'm so pleased I cried, it had fallen behind the plate rack and only normally usingt four plates I wouldn't find it till the cabinet/bread bin we store them in was emptied to clean dd2 was cooking lunch for all of us on Sunday andheard something rattle at the back when she got more plates out. It's back on my wrist again where it belongs.

Busy all day but I will iron later and catch up with post that needs dealing with.

Bedroom day, mine could do with it. Although I will start with the dailies if I went in there just now I'd jump back into bed. Don't think I got much sleep last night at all.

Off to get another cuppa then make a start.

MrsMP I'm so pleased you have got your bracelet x
