So I have done the bedroom jobs except the wardrobes, hoovered through and taken the dogs for a walk in the pouring rain. Just dried off and about to start the paid stuff.

    Catch you all later.

  • Hi all x

    Dizzy huge hugs honey xx

Just stopping for a cuppa. So far I have...
Decluttered DD to school and OH and DS1 to work.
Washed up and gave scullery a quick s/s
Collected the washing from various baskets around the house
    WM and TD on
Folded some stuff from the TD and hung up/ put past.
    Plumped the cushions
Removed various detritus from LR floor

I'm starting on the bathroom next.
    I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged
  • It's me again!

    So that's the bathroom done,
    Beds made
Pot of HM soup on the hob
    More TD folded/put away

Just going to chill out for a wee while might do some colouring in or knitting

Thanks all for your supportive vibes for earlier this week - much appreciated. Looking forward to a glass of wine and a cheeky M&S fish pie tonight as my reward.

YL - From one Yorkshire lass to another, here's a big kick up the bum. If you are doing too much for them stop it right now. This minute. You have enough on your plate with all the paid stuff you do without being everyone's skivvy at home as well. Get a rota drawn up ASAP.

Jazee - gentle vibes for your DH.

Mrs MP - So glad you found it :)

Dizzy - I actually just want to jump in the car, collect you and kiddies, and bring you ooop norf' to hide here with us. You have so much pressure on you, I really don't know how you do it. The offer is there if you need a sanctuary away from the chaos for a while....

I too would be massively game for a Yorkshire meet, just name the place and I'll be there (most likely at the bar!)

Going to demolish a cuppa then attempt to tidy this hovel.....xxx

atb - ouch - but thank you. Will you please repeat this as necessary. You will be pleased to know that I have left the pan that DS1 used to make omelettes for lunch for himself and gf on the side and have told him that he can wash it up when he gets in from footie practice. And I refuse to look in his laundry basket.

Made me smile MrsMP, glad its found.

Working, just waiting for something to download. Have been to the gym - did some nice relaxing Pilates sessions at the end.

Agree - Dizzy you are amazing. Right, back to the paid stuff. Its damp here and the utility floor looks grubby but I will deal with that later.
  • Hi all

    Just lost a post
Anyway the short version a boy in DDs class covered her black blazer in the white insides of a stress ball:mad:. Blazer is now washed and hanging up to dry.
Got OH to move the TD and there was a couple of socks behind it. So as all the washing is done and socks paired I have binned the remains of the odd sock bag. Between OH and my 2 DSs there is at least 60 pairs of socks!

Off to chill I'm doing he haw more

Welcome back Dizzy. Sorry to hear that you are having a rough time atm. Big (((hugs))) and posivibes.

Still plodding on with my essay: just 2 days left to write 2000 words, otherwise our holiday will have to be cancelled! That gives me the necessary self-motivation to get it done ;) Fluffy slippers to keep me on task would be appreciated.

I did hoover the kitchen floor the other night, I am doing a daily S&S in the kitchen, bathroom and ensuite, the washing is up to date and the rest of the house is staying tidy :D (apart from my study, of course!)

Will see you in my :coffee: breaks...

Morning all. Hope you get your essay completed in time Iona.

This morning I have done the dailies, walked the dogs (posting important letter on the way) and have done the ironing.

Paid stuff now - decision day.

    Have a great day everyone.
