    Thanks shez

Feel a bit better as they are "testing" the homemade bread I made from a Lidl mix and it seems to be popular. So something has gone right today.

Might take some of my home made elderberry extract as think I might have a cold coming on so will nip it in the bud.

    Frogga

Saw the "crocodile" and it is spectacular!!! well done - you have a real talent.

Hugs to everyone ( just as it gets to after 9p.m. I suddenly feel more awake than I have all day.

evening! a late one for me, been working and tapping today!

Lots of (((hugs))) to give out - PP, Anniestar, Pooky, Catowen and anyone I've missed - apologies xxx

Shez - well done on the weight loss!:T

Kyle - am pleased for you about your good news!

DH feeling poorly ATM, tummy this time, pains and has been lay upstairs with a hotwater bottle since about 6pm, just come downstairs now to feed his pigeons. His back seems to be holding up thankfully.

Work for me tomorrow again with a sleep-in then got 3 days off.

Mum not too happy today. She had paid for an In Memorium notice to go in our local paper as its the 4th anniversary of Dad's death on Saturday and they forgot to put it in. She was upset in case Dad's brothers and sisters thought she'd forgotten him .

Off to give DH a hand with his birds then onto a nice hot bath before an early night with my book and a hot chocolate!

    Night all x
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Cheers Shez :D As I said, I've got most things already - the bras were a must-buy so as not to give myself two black eyes :rotfl: and I can barely get into the swimming cossie I bought a few years ago, and as I KNOW swimming's one of the things I enjoy, it was another essential. But I've got a pair of trainers and 2 pairs of gym trousers from a few years back, and I've got tops that will fit once I've started losing a few inches :o But in the meantime I figured I'll pick up a couple of cheap T-shirts from Primark. Need some socks too. Hopefully I can get T-shirts and socks for about a tenner all in.

I've got other calls on my money this week - Sunday is my dad's birthday so I need to buy him a card, I'm going to my mum's for the afternoon (£13 train fare ) and we're meeting Dad in the evening to go out for a meal (probably £15-£20 a head, I should think ) so the budget is already going to pot this month and payday was only yesterday :o

Must be off - have just noticed the state of my kitchen and can't leave it like that  :D

  • Aussie glad the storm passed you by. What would we do without your wonderful posts every day?

It's so nice to be appreciated after all these years. :D

The sun's shining brightly today. My sister is off to the coast for the next 10 days off. Lucky duck. I plan on doing some baking this morning. Not much in the cake/biscuit tin. Well actually there's nothing in them. :D I hope JackieO is OK atm.

Kyle Well done on the win. Not long now to escape from Twink. :D
PPen Maybe you need to visit another farm shop. :p
Well nearly finished my cuppa so off for a quick surf and better get stuck into it. Have a good night's sleep. Byeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Evening all - not had time to read everything but hugs to those who need them

just got back from the News Quiz - so funny - but hte theatre was freezing so I'm wearing a big cardi tomorrow night for the radio 3 thingy. All of this excitement pales into insignificance besides Frogga's Crocodile Bread of course :D

OSwise I've not had any tea tonight as the journey took longer than I thought and then i didn't fancy anything after - might scramble some eggs in a bit.
bad day at w*rk - some people didn't like the decision in court so took it out on me - the only person in there without any blooming influence or say in the case - R*cist was the only publishable part of the tirade which upset me far more than their promise to wait outside and get me - luckily they got tired and cold after about half an hour and b*ggered off - yes it was a day full of asterisks. to top it all exbf IS coming back to work but not for another month or so -

dr who-obsessed dd wanted to watch that billie piper thing but me and dad had said no - got a text from middle dd who has got her for the night to say that dd had said that she was allowed to watch it but middle dd thought that if we had agreed we might not have realised what it was about so could she have confirmation - can't blame her for trying i suppose :)

well that's it from me except to say HI CHALKY :hello: :D
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
