My credit is fine, I'm self employed and have been in the same job for nearly 7 years.
My partner however has a communication default on his credit report which is why we are going with Kensington and he has also been in his new job for 2 months. They have waived his probation period - he got a letter from his manager to confirm this which we have sent them and his previous job he was there for over 4 years, he only left as his new job is better money and the same kind of job. my MA has said he's more than confident it'll all go through fine but you never know and I'm a worrier so I just keep thinking it's going to be a no and the waiting doesn't help
I feel bad as I'm worrying already and it's just over a week since we applied whereas you all are in your 5th-8th week so I'm sorry if I sound silly.0 -

from what you've said if we haven't had a request for more docs by Monday, I'm hoping that just means the valuation needs to be done and signed off.
I hope it's a good sign too, keep us posted with how you get on. I hope you both hear back soon and get the offer you want.

How is everyone doing? Just thought I'd update on my timeline so far!Application in 12/05Request for further documents (wet signature, proof of 3 months mortgage payments) 02/06Query regarding email address 11/06
Yesterday my MA told us that Kensington have agreed to book the valuation but also requested a few other documents (just little things like the back of some photocopied documents)
Does this sound promising?
I so hope everyone's journeys are going well!0 -
I feel like my MA is keeping me in the dark. I sent her some documents finally alongside the wet signature and asked if everything was ok and if there was anything else and she has totally ignored me haha. even if she just says ill be in touch in a few days would make me feel better rather than checking my email every hour ! that was 2 days ago..0
