Hi All
we are currently going through an application with Kensington mortgages to have been told a second time the solicitor we are using is not on their panel, even though I explained the situation to the current solicitor who confirmed they were on the panel. Does anyone have any recommendations of solicitors they are using who are on the panel I just don’t know what to do?0 -

Hopefully all that wait will get the good news soon.We have received another query from Kensington in the line of quite and few queries which was answered yesterday and out MB advised that she will call Kensington Monday and speak with them. I am hopeful that we may finally get our offer next week. It would be fantastic to know it’s here and we can finally relax it’s been very stressful few months. You all keep me sane and with every good news here I get that much more hope. Thank you all for that. I’ll keep you posted
FMA submitted 19/4/21
Valuation completed 26/5/21
so for us it’s a very long process... really hoping to hear something this week!MFiT-T6 #70 -
Guys we just got our offer!!Here’s my timeline
21/05/21: AIP
26/05/21: Full Application
01/06/21: Asked for proof of deposit
05/06/21: Asked for details of a default
account that am still paying off (balance £493). Asked my husband to pay off a loan he had. Further proof of deposit, Landlord details and the developer’s details
11/06/21: Valuation done
15/06/21: Asked for further proof of deposit and 3 months mortgage payments. They can be very pedantic!!18/06/21: Mortgage offer. The offer has a condition stating my husband has to pay off his loan but he has already paid this off so not a problem. So altogether 18 working days to offer! We are over the moon!!! Never ever thought we would be homeowners.Does anyone know how much you end up paying for your Solicitor acting on behalf of Kensington? Also need to shop around for home Insurance. Apparently they have to add Kensington as an interested party.1 -
@Shirleyuz Congratulations!!! You must be so chuffed!! Fingers crossed on the rest of your home owning journey0
