Hope you guys are getting on OK  sounds like you've had a proper stressful time Emz. They are so soooo pedantic but have faith that it will all be worth it!

Our drama continues.  Everything with the offer is OK still but in finalising the sale our solicitor has found a problem with the title deeds of the property. It's a flat with  a house attached as a neighbour but the house has one of their rooms in the building of our flat. This makes them partly responsible for roof costs of the building our flat is in. However, the issue is the way the  deeds read is we are also responsible for a share of the roof of their house (which we don't share in any way). Apparently this is unusual and our solicitor says he wouldn't advise buying the property if it is the case and thinks Kensington probably wouldn't lend on it.

It's not looking good atm for us,  waiting to hear if the neighbours deeds clear things up :(. Apparently it's possible ours are just unclear and theirs will be constructed in a way that clears the confusion up which is taking time because the neighbours deeds come from the old register. Solicitor said to be prepared that their deeds will say the same though.

Very much looks like we are back to the start. Killlllll meeeeee. We were supposed to be moving in next month!
Gutted to say the least, I thought once we got the offer we'd  be home and dry!
Omg that sounds terrible for you! I can totally imagine how gutted you are to have to start all again. Have you had a look around to see what is on the market at the moment if anything you'd want to view? You never know their deeds might clear it up and all be ok!! Fingers crossed!!!
I know fingers crossed 🤞 yeah starting to look around now but can't see anything within our budget in the area we planned to move to. Hoping for some kind of miracle or we might need to reassess all our plans.

    How are you getting on?
It must be so stressful for you at the moment! Just have to remember that everything happens for a reason and it will definitely all work itself out how it is suppose to 🤞

It all seems to be coming along OK at the moment...hopefully will hear on Monday about our valuation and if its been done or when it will be so just waiting for that now....just hoping it all works out OK and then the offer will come from there 🤞😬
I'd put my money on you being absolutely  golden now. Will have everything crossed for your good news this week!

Bless you though can't imagine how gutting it'll be, but as Amy said everything happens for a reason. Really hope it works out for you x

So glad to hear that some of you have received their offers and stress is somewhat over! Hopefully all that wait will get the good news soon.
We have received another query from Kensington in the line of quite and few queries which was answered yesterday and out MB advised that she will call Kensington Monday and speak with them. I am hopeful that we may finally get our offer next week. It would be fantastic to know it’s here and we can finally relax it’s been very stressful few months. You all keep me sane and with every good news here I get that much more hope. Thank you all for that. I’ll keep you posted

Update from us....I heard from our MA this morning, they had spoken with Kensington this morning to confirm when our valuation would take place. We have been advised the valuation is booked to happen 22nd, can take 48 hours to come over to Kensington and then 4 working days for them to review so may not hear anything until about 30th. Is disheartening to hear it'll be 9 working days from instructing valuation to it taking place. I don't know if they are just extremely busy at the moment or some peoples valuations might happen quicker than ours for any reason. But just an update for anyone with valuation as next steps.

We instructed survey over a week ago, and no date yet. Don't know if they're waiting to sign off our docs first. I knew it would be a while as surveyors are so busy. Was kinda hoping they'd do a virtual survey as they can be turned around quite quickly

Yeah I am assuming I was thinking it would be quite quick if it was a virtual/online valuation but guess it depends on the area and how busy they are. Bit more waiting to do yet. Fingers crossed you hear something soon.
