Everything crossed for you!Amysmith21 said:
Oh that is so frustrating! Hopefully you won't have long of a wait for them to review again. It is a good thing I guess they want to book the survey in. We submitted our 'final' documents (that we know of) that are needed on Friday so we are also now just waiting to hear anything...hopefully not too long of a wait also. *fingers crossed*EmzJenks said:Update from me - more documents required this morning (which my MA already had so kinda annoyed they weren't sent in the first place), they have requested to book the survey in, so I guess I'm back in the waiting queue for them to review the docs sent today

Does anyone know when they email your landlord/letting agent what email address it comes from? Kensington have said they've sent it, my letting agent said they haven't had it and to find out what email address it is sent from as it might be in their quarantine and my MA is helpfully off until Thursday so can't ask Kensington until then 🤦♀️0

Did you manage to find out the information and get it sorted?EmzJenks said:Does anyone know when they email your landlord/letting agent what email address it comes from? Letting agent did a search for @kensingtonmortgages.co.uk and nothing came up in their emails - but I can't ask Kensington to re-send it as my MA has the flipping day off. 0 -
Oh no! It is so frustrating all the waiting! At least your MA is back in tomorrow and can try and sort it out first thing.EmzJenks said:

Yes hope so! I'll be hounding her. It takes long enough as it is without other things holding it up. Buying a house is stressful hahaAmysmith21 said:

Long time lurker here! Just thought I'd share my journey thus far!
Application in 12/05
Request for further documents (wet signature, proof of 3 months mortgage payments) 02/06
Still early days I think but good luck to everyone in the same boat!1 -
Good luck to you too!Awayfrommydesk said:Long time lurker here! Just thought I'd share my journey thus far!

Just to say, they should only ask for a tenancy reference if you are not privately renting. Sounds like they shouldn't need a landlord reference from you at all. Just thought I'd mention in case it speeds things up for you. We were asked for one but weren't in a position where we wanted to let our landlord know yet, when checking guidance I seen they don't request references for private tenants. When my broker challenged that they said this was correct and a reference wasn't needed.EmzJenks said:

Oh really? They've re-sent it and our letting agent has confirmed they've had it and will send it back today. I knew it was a possibility they'd want one so when requested I just handed the info over haha. So keen to just answer everything they ask so quickly I guess haha. I have told our letting agent this isn't us giving notice as we are early days in the whole process, and we'd give notice nearer the time. They were fine with that. We've been there 7 years and have been on a rolling periodic for 6 years, and been good tenants so should be all good. Thanks for the info though, you're right we probably didn't even need one!Hhp321 said:
