Kensington Mortgage application timescale

Sorry thought I'd responded and my phone won't let my quote! Likely my IT skills though. Ours took 7 weeks. Some of the delays were caused by waiting on references or bank statements for proof of deposit. I think if your application has taken this long is less likely they will say no? Our mortgage broker said they are faster at getting back to them with requests for info than other companies. It is a frustrating time though.

Everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong for us, they lost our valuation report right at the start as well! 

I got rejected after 9 weeks... Hopefully you fair better. 😭

Oh my gosh! 11 weeks! You must be pulling your hair out. I really hope you get some good news this week. It sounds like you are so close. Ours has only been 2 weeks since application but the valuation was done last week, so I hope we hear some good news soon too. Fingers crossed for you!

Hi do you mind sharing why they rejected your application. I had my valuation done on the 11th of Jan and I’m still waiting for decision. They did ask further bank and savings statements and payslip but I haven’t heard since then. My MA chased them last week but I haven’t heard anything from my MA. I have tried phoning and emailed my MA this week but no answer just yet. I’ve got a feeling it might be a no 😟

After 11 long weeks, can’t quite believe it.

They sent it through this afternoon and broker has just emailed me all the documents 😬
