Kensington Mortgage application timescale

Delighted we have received our offer, we are delighted. I expected a very long process, our timeline: 

28/01 Mortgage application submitted 
31/01 Proof of deposit etc 
02/02 Valuation instructed 
04/02 Valuation took place
07/02 Mortgage offer received

Received our offer today. The whole thing has been going on for several weeks, but the delays have been asking for more information. It is stressful and takes time, but if you can give them everything they ask for as fast as you can it definitely speeds things up. Good luck to everyone waiting it won't be long hopefully.

our MB have advised that our valuation is being done Friday. Fingers crossed it goes ok

How many weeks did it take for you in total? I’m starting to lose the will to live here with our application 😭 we always provide them with everything we can as quickly as we can.

Hi @Lisja1979 we have been waiting too long 😂 

I was reassured on Friday and actually had a phone all directly from an underwriter to say that my file has been signed off for final review to offer… BUT they were having technical difficulties with their system issuing offers? 

It’s just unlucky that it happened to our application apparently. They have IT working on it and we should get it through on Monday. 

I’m on 11 weeks now with my application 🤦🏼‍♀️ 

Everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong for us, they lost our valuation report right at the start as well!
