Kensington Mortgage application timescale

@Needsadvice13 so we’ve had loads of queries come back at underwriting stage… nothing major just asking for previous landlords details, getting us to sign a form (which we had already signed and sent to broker… very annoying) and they also need our employers emails so they can verify our payslips?Getting all this information back to them now so I’m hoping we will still get our offer 🤞🏼 Makes me worried every time they have a query.0

Nah no luck yet. Apparently the valuer was missing the building warranty form which is now provided. Hoping they will come back soon now. MA did mention once this is confirmed, the application should go to the final review.Needsadvice13 said:
Did you have any luck? Our mortgage broker is chasing ours today!danielleb91 said:I have been told that our file is due to be reviewed by the underwriter today 🤞🏼0 -
Fingers crossed we all seem to be nearing offer!
Kensington confirmed this morning that our application has now gone into “final checks” and if all signed off we will have our offer either late tomorrow or Wednesday morning!0 -

Can I ask if any of you have been asked for employers emails to verify your payslips? My past 3 payslips have all got different amounts on them due to probation pay and then a small pay rise after passing probation so that could be why. But my broker said apparently it is a new thing that Kensington are doing with all their applications now?0

My broker asked for our employers email address when she initially sent the application but not heard anything from it….1

Hi, I’m just looking back at previous comments and exactly the same thing has happened to us! Application submitted on 29th November… then on Friday (7th Jan) they have asked for previous landlords details, although they’ve said they don’t need a reference… just the details. Then today they have asked for our employers emails to verify our payslips 🙄kingstreet said:Our latest Kensington app was submitted on 29 September. We've had requests for further information and we thought we'd finally finished on 3 November when an Accountant's reference was returned.
They have now decided they want a Landlord's Reference. Forty-two days after receiving the application complete with Landlord's name, address and phone number and they want us to ring the Landlord and get an email address for them! Can I ask if you have received your offer now? Just want all the back and forth to stop and to get an answer 🙈0
