Kensington Mortgage application timescale

I would have thought if they've asked about it they just need something clarifying, if it was a bad sign they would have probably just declined you by now. 
keep your fingers crossed. Kensington don't seem to have the smoothest process but as long as you get there in the end its worth it. Good luck! 

Only just realised when I wrote the letter they asked for regarding my profits down slightly 2019 - 2020 I put it down to COVID genuinely thinking it was that and got totally mixed up on the situation. Only realised my books are April to April! Just a totally genuine mistake! Feel so daft. 

So I asked my mortgage advisor and she told me to write a new letter and she would explain the situation to Kensington. 

Do you think that will have any baring on there decision? 

Feel such a idiot 😭😭

anybody else help going out of my mind with worrying I’ve messed it up now when it was just a genuine mistake 😭😭😭

Finally got our offer through the door today hopefully things can get moving now. 

It is a long wait but it will come through in the end good luck to you all.

We have had our valuation on the property we are buying done and they have had all our paperwork sent through this is our 4rth week would you say this is promising

Our valuation was done on the 9th July but an issue came up with roads and sewers it’s a new build! We were told to expect an offer not long after valuation but then this cropped up! In total our application has been 7 1/2 weeks!

usually it’s a good sign when they go to valuation so I’m sure you will be fine

Hi guys we are at final review does anyone know how long this takes kensington to do this and what happens next

We were told we were in the final stages about a week ago. Kensington requested some further information last Thursday which we supplied the next morning. Chased Kensington again today and they requested more payslips (last 2 months) so we expected to be at the back of the queue again. They messaged me at about 5.30 and said they have now sent the offer to our broker! 

I'm hoping this is good news but out broker has left for the day so we have to wait until tomorrow to find out exactly what has been offered so fingers crossed. It sounds to me like your offer is just around the corner.

Yes it means it’s gone back to the underwriter to “rubber stamp” the offer. It will get sent to your MA and also a paper copy to you and your solicitor. It took a few hours once we got told it was going to offer for our MA to say they have it and then 2 days later it came in the post.
