Hi I'm looking for someone in a similar situation as me and my parter we have sent all paperwork through has valuation Co plate on the property we are buying and at the final stage is there any possibility of our offer being declined or is this a good sign. Thanks0

I think your in a pretty solid position. I think that's where we are or there abouts but I can't help but still worry! My MA thinks they are very unlikely to instruct valuation unless that are mostly happy.Jbarghati7 said:Hi I'm looking for someone in a similar situation as me and my parter we have sent all paperwork through has valuation Co plate on the property we are buying and at the final stage is there any possibility of our offer being declined or is this a good sign. Also asked for abit more information!His this a bad sign or good ?0

@EmzJenks
oh no that's frustrating, hopefully not for long and you can get a date for moving.
buying a house is definitley more complicated than I thought 🤣
we are hoping to move if not this month then at the start of September but we are just waiting on the solicitors to finish their enquiries. that's all we ever get told when we ask.
the sellers want to move from the house we are buying ASAP as the house they are moving to is empty and waiting.
not sure what the actual hold up is but we are just waiting to be told of a completion date. we haven't paid the deposit yet, not sure how it all works tbh. our solicitor is keeping us in the dark a bit.

I would have thought if they've asked about it they just need something clarifying, if it was a bad sign they would have probably just declined you by now.Barron1992 said:We sent all documents requested from mortgage advisor on the 30th July !Come back now asking why my profits was down 2019 - 2020 obviously due to COVID and people not letting me in there house and asking me to write a letter explaining which I sent straight away back to the mirage advisor. keep your fingers crossed. Kensington don't seem to have the smoothest process but as long as you get there in the end its worth it. Good luck!0 -
We finally exchanged and completed on Friday last week so we are finally in our house 😁 it is so worth it when you get there! I really hope it isn't too much longer for you all now. We've had a busy week moving in and all unpacked and few days to chill before going back to work Monday. 😊EmzJenks said:@Amysmith21 @lauraclay1727 how are you guys getting on? In your new houses yet? Only just realised when I wrote the letter they asked for regarding my profits down slightly 2019 - 2020 I put it down to COVID genuinely thinking it was that and got totally mixed up on the situation. Only realised my books are April to April! Just a totally genuine mistake! Feel so daft.lauraclay1727 said:

Good luck!So I asked my mortgage advisor and she told me to write a new letter and she would explain the situation to Kensington.Do you think that will have any baring on there decision?Feel such a idiot 😭😭
anybody else help going out of my mind with worrying I’ve messed it up now when it was just a genuine mistake 😭😭😭0 -
