i've just gone through and checked out all the sites listed and i wanted to give everyone a collective thank you as i found a few types of sites i've been looking for and haven't found yet so thanks everyone and i hope this thread keeps growing, it does my heart good to see us sharing these extremely useful resources :T0

the world book day website has a great collection of games in conjunction with many popular books, most are for young children but a few will appeal to older kids too
also on the left hand side of the page you'll see links for teacher resources, well worth a look

i was commenting to a friend how much easier it is these days to home educated inexpensively with such an amazing array of quality websites, sites that are definitely too good to keep all to myself0 -
