Augh, doesn't look like it! I LOVE the Warbs bagel thins but they're 6 syns each, plus whatever you spread on them.gettingtheresometime wrote: »It just seems that that when ever I set myself a target I never reach it ...perhaps my next target should be a generic 'just a loss' lol.
Welcome home Gettingthere! And well done on your tiny gain! I think it's better to make an aspirational target and almost reach it than a small one and do it easily. Better to aim for the moon and land among the stars and all that!
TIE - Take care of yourself lovely x
Well done all the losers over the weekend! :T
I didn't exactly stay on plan all weekend but my meals were all SW and I ran twice (8 miles on the cliff tops yesterday - lovely!). Had lunch out on Saturday and the cafe had a 'slimming' option of diet Fanta chicken with jacket potato and salad, so I had that - couldn't really tell the difference between that and the diet cola version I make though.
Just had a sneaky peek on the scales and have lost about 1.5lbs since Friday's weigh in. If I can lose a further 3 by this Friday that means I'll finish this challenge at the same weight I started it, which (at this stage) would be amazing. Then I can start the next challenge afresh.
Back at my two jobs this week though and yoga and running coaching and hospital appointment with gran, so it's busy busy - must not let myself crack under pressure and gobble loads of chocolate as usual.
Today:
B - Two clementines with Muller Light
D - Bacon, onion, mushroom and tomato omelette
T - Last of the crustless quiche (tuna, peas, sweetcorn - free but not speed) with grated carrot and pickled beetroot, onions, etc.
HEA - Milk
HEB - Alpen Lights
Syns - Sugar in coffee (3), hot choc (2) and maybe some nuts?
Eyes on the prize. Have a good day all.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Has been a good weekend foodwise but have overdone the syns on the wine, as usual! The lamb dauphinoise was really nice but decided the extra portions wouldn't freeze well with the potato/sweet potato topping so have removed that and just frozen the meat & veg and will serve with mash in the future. Fortunately the cream stayed within the potato layer so no need to syn when I reheat it later. In the end 4 portions went into the freezer - there should have been 6 portions but DD1 turned up after we'd eaten and DH encouraged her to have some of it - she helped herself to twice as much meat as we had:eek: - but that was probably because I'd already taken the potato topping off and there was no veg left.
Today's plan:
B - fruit & quark
L - toasted not a BLT with mushrooms (spinach instead of lettuce:rotfl:)
D - M&S meal deal - chicken provencal; mixed veg; mash; will probably have some more fruit & quark after
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - chicken provencal 4
This will leave me with 6 syns for tomorrow & Wednesday - just about doable (I hope).
Going to hang some washing out now and take the car to garage for MOT.

Morning all
Reporting in with another STS which is extremely annoying as a sneaky peak on Friday was showing a 1lb loss. I was suffering with indigestion during the night and I'm feeling a bit out of sorts this morning so maybe that's something to do with it. Maybe I should change to Friday weigh ins....
Well done Saverupper and everyone else who lost this week.
Sorry to hear you're still in pain TIE, hope the Dr can help out. I usually find CoCodamol helps with sciatica when I get it.I tried SW burgers today:eek: i left them they were horrible:(will make my own,
I was in M&S foodhall yesterday and picked up some of their skinny burgers having read good reports of them, I'll let you know what they're like when we eat them. I also got some of their skinny sausages which I think are 1/2 syn each.
Have a good week everyone.
LL
ETA p.s. just looked up the skinny burgers and sausages - the burgers are Free and the sausages are 1/2 syn as I thoughtStart BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -
The sw recipe for turkey tikka burgers is delish. Lots of speed in them too.
What's the recipe please?
I wavered off the wagon on Sat night. Had a grill with chips and salad and a couple of ciders. And a cocktail.
Got away with an STS so I'm calling it a win. Hopefully it won't hit me next week.
B - Toast with laughing cow (hexa and b) and an apple
D - Ham, egg and potato salad and a mugshot
T - SW fry up. Gonna do mushrooms, tomatoes and onions with it. 2 syns for sausages.
Rest of HEXA on two cups of tea tonight.
BM - I have a survey to do on my dinner hour, which is a good half hour brisk walk away.0 -
Late again this week. +4  for me for last week please Shala. My size 8 friend came to visit. I don't know how she stays that size. We ate EVERYTHING :rotfl: Totally deserved the gain. I ended up back on my crutches after she left (I have a dodgy leg) but totally worth it. I am thinking that some of the gain is probably water retention in my muscle. Was expecting half a stone. Really hope I can at least maintain this week, as I don't want to miss out on my target two challenges in a row. Back on plan this morning.
Congrats to all the losers :jBack on the slimming world wagon 04.01.18
Total lost 1st 3.5lbs :j Week 40 -
Hi all - had a lovely weekend with the family and then last night with some new friends. I had them round for tea and it wasn't SW friendly at all! But it was lovely lol....
___________________________________________________________________________
Line drawn and on we go lol
Today: going to try for a SP day
B: bacon. tomatoes and egg
L: turkey slices, ham, egg, tomato, lettuce, pickles
not entirely sure
The rest TBD
My DD and I were talking about how we want to get in shape as much as we want to lose weight so we're looking for classes to go to instead of just walking (and to be fair we're not doing much of that either!) so I suggested we go to badminton - I used to play years ago and I wasn't too bad at it...and it's really fun...so I found a class that takes all levels so we're going to that tomorrow after work (this is big for us as we both have social anxiety so at least we'll be weird together lol!)
She also wants to try zumba - I'm not so sure about that one as (a) I can't dance lol and (b)I'm terribly uncoordinated and I can see myself being really bad at it!
We're aiming for an activity a day (at least 5 days a week) and if nothing else then a good hours walk every day. We've got my other DDs wedding in october and we want to look hot lol0
