Do let us know how you get on with the M&S burgers and sausages lois. I'm happy with Sainsbury's BGTY but always up for trying something new that's low syn?
We had the sausages tonight in sausage ragout and I was impressed, the flavour and texture were really good, the skin was a little bit tough. The burgers will be on the meal plan this week, probably with SW chips and salad.

Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Shiprob for SOTW :T
I'm not sure if I've finished the challenge now as a Monday weigher, but I'm going to change to Fridays so I'll get another chance :rotfl:

Well this month has just been a car crash for the diet! My holiday to LA resulted in a massive gain! Doesn't help that I have been off plan for 2 and a half weeks! Not going to make it to this weeks weigh in either as I have a physio appointment on Weds. Plus I want to try and lose some of my holiday gain before facing my group again!
Hopefully May will be slightly more successful for me!0 -
So tonight, after 18 months, I went back to my local SW group.Ihad gone there not really knowing whether I would be joining up,weighing in and going again,or what .I just wanted to get access to up-to-date syn information.Staying at a lovely group woud be a bonus.
I caught up with lots of familiar faces :undecided.Everyone was lovely. The leader was just filling in for the night, the regular leader will be back next week.
I ended up re-joining.It is nice to be starting again, and another bonus is their scales weighed me 1/2 lb lighter than my own :rotfl:.So according to their scales,I have gained 2 stone,1lb exactly since straying.Let that be a lesson to me!!
My menu today:
Breakfast:toast with Flora light (1/2 teaspoon, OH MY-HAVE JUST LOOKED UP THE SYNS IN MY NEW BOOK:.thought this was 1syn a tsp, seems it is only 1/2 syn :rotfl:),and Marmite
Snack: apple
No lunch
Snack: couple of pieces of leftover roast veg.I was trying not to get too heavy for weigh-in,which is naughty,I know.....
Tea: omelette with 15g cheese (3 syns),bacon, onion, served with cucumber and baby plum tomatoes
Snack: Go-Ahead bar (3.5syns)
Haven't had all my (skimmed ) milk allowance today......as I type this,I realise 2 customers fed me cups of tea with skimmed milk,so a couple of syns there ,I guess......SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Thank you!
They look lush, Top Bloke might leave me if I put grated carrot in anything else though so I might miss it outMaybe one for the weekend.
You cant tell there is carrot in them, it is just like one giant flavoursome meat fest!If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
Welcome DustyBlinds.
ChocolateTeddy, I know I can easily gain 2-3 lbs in a day, and weighing in straight after a meal, no matter how healthy it was could easily account for that gain. It will show next week.
Well done on the loss and SOTW ShipRob
Cazza, blame the gin, everything is the gins fault
Thanks for the chart Shala. You do a wonderful job keeping us all up to date. Hope you are okay at the moment.
MissTeach _________ Line drawn. May will be betterZebras rock0 -
Today's plan:
Breakfast - miso noodles
Mid morning snack - fruit and skips
Then at the hospital for another scan
Dinner if I feel up to it as the tracer tends to leave me feeling ikky - left over speedy chilli
HA - milk and cheese
HB - none
syns - miso (0.5), Skips (4.5)
Weigh in tonight. Hoping for a loss, and I deserve it, but hormones could effect it either wayZebras rock0 -
Welcome Dusty and welcome back Lantanna and MissTeach! Glad you had a wonderful time!
Congratulations for SOTW and SOTM Shiprob!
Cazza - what is the 5 syn rice pud please? That seems like a nice filling sweet treat for 5 syns as opposed to a Freddo or something.
Well done on rejoining, Saver-upper, glad it was a positive experience overall.
Well I managed to stay on plan yesterday EXCEPT I was at my gran's house at lunchtime and she whipped up a batch of cheese scones and gave me one slathered in butter. Augh. Does anyone else end up going off track in order to fit in with others or not offend? The most conservative estimate I can find for syns is about ten, which takes me way over for the day, and I don't even like cheese scones! The saving grace is that I counted that for my lunch, and tea was just SW quiche and salad so at least it was a 'light' day overall.
Now that the Easter hols are over, Tuesdays are my nightmare days again so here's the plan:
B - Two apples, two clems, and two coffees (2)
D - Bacon, onion, mushroom and tomato omelette that I didn't have yesterday
T - Speedy bolognese from the freezer with couscous
HEA - Milk
HEB - Alpen lights to snack on
Syns - Sugar in coffee (up to 4), wine (5) = 9
Right Tuesday, hit me!
EDIT - Best of luck at the hospital and weigh-in, Kathryn!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Good morning all!
What a sunny yet freezing cold day it is here.
Not eaten yet as wasn't hungry when I got up.
B - Cup of tea, strawberries, mugshot
D - Ham/egg/potato/cottage cheese salad, carrot sticks
T - SW chicken supreme. Was going to have rice with it, but if it's still this cold, I'll be having a big bowl with mashed potatoes
HEXA - Milk in tea
HEXB - Not sure yet. Might make SW pate later on and have some ryvitas with that before bed0
