I like the sound of that beef lush. Hope WI goes well tomorrow.
I agree you don't want to waste money ali but why not just take Easter off as a break then plan to get back on it after the holiday? We'll all be wanting to be slimmer as the weather picks up and we wear lighter clothes.
I'm pleased you're going to cook a SW meal for everyone saverupper. You're far more likely to stick to plan that way and it's far more mse. I'd make sure it's obvious that you and DH and golden girl;) have a bigger and better portion though.
I'm out for a meal tonight but otherwise SW and totally on plan tomorrow. Then it's a break until next Wednesday.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, fried egg, mushrooms, tomatoes
L: lentil and veg soupItalian (so probably bread, oil, Parmesan....)

Morning all
I don't know what's wrong with me this morning, I'm on my own in the shop as DH is playing golf and I can't stop picking. I need some handcuffs or a gag. I didn't feel like eating this morning, and although I'm not really hungry that little voice in my head say's it's ok to eat the pick & mix because I didn't have breakfast. I need to have a severe word with myself and then keep to free food for the rest of the day. I've got some HM minestrone soup for lunch, salmon for dinner and plenty of speed fruit and veg in so there's no excuse.
Ali-t - sorry to hear you're struggling, but don't give up. I understand the logic behind paying for a missing week only to be told you've gained, but part of paying to go to class is the advice that your consultant can give you, and the tools that are available to help when you're struggling. Going back might be what you need to rejuvenate that weight loss mojo.
I've just scrolled down and noticed the picture I put on yesterday is upside down! It was definitely the right way up on my iPad... :rotfl:
Saver-upper - that meal out sounds extremely naughty, I hope you enjoyed it?! It sounds like you've got your SW head on now and ready to get your family on side.
Tweets - you could easily make carrot chips yourself the SW way. Have you got an Actifry? Had to chuckle at the bags.
Well I started this post over an hour ago and I've been reading and typing between serving customers, so at least it means I've kept my fingers out of the pick & mix for an hour. I'm not that bothered about most sweets but we've got white chocolate skulls in, they're my favourite and I keep saying I'm not buying them but the customers ask for them.
Have a good day everyone.

No I don't have an actifry sorry.
I wanted free delivery on my Iceland order so had 98p to spend when I took carrot chips off so knew freezer bags £1 so instead of messing looking for something was an easy choice :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I am typing in next doors garden and getting wet and cold its throwing it down here windy and cold :cool:0 -
Been at the hospital with DH this morning, having his after op dressing removed and new one on. They've made him a fairly solid casing to supprt his wrist which he has to wear 24/7, apart from a few minutes each day to massage the scar.
Katheryn that's an absolutely brilliant loss. You've done really well with finding foods you can eat and making yourself enjoyable meals.
Today's menu is very samey and not as much Speed as usual.
B - museli HEB, ff natural yoghurt, splash of milk from HEA
L - L O spanish rice
D - HM synfree chicken curry, rice
I've had nearly half a melon, a few strawberries and some grapes. There's more if I want it.
Rest of HEA will be milk in tea
No syns planned but have about 10 available if I want something.

/de-lurks Hello all still plodding around SWish - I've stopped going to class cos I wasn't staying to class and in my head I'm perfectly fine doing SW on my own...plus my sister (who I joined with to keep her on plan) has definitely stopped going - she said she was feeling kind of panicky about going to class and it was sort of making her look at food in the wrong way.
Problem is I started getting a bit picky about food (picking that is) and I realised that I do need the spectre of the scale to keep me on track. I've messaged the consultant and asked if I rejoin can I keep my old stats to keep me accountable - she said that I can - (I'll not join this week - it's me and DH's 30th wedding anniversary :T:eek: and we'll be doing some celebrating!!) - but I do plan to go next Saturday after Easter.
I'll keep checking in here and will join up when the next challenge starts...DD is getting married in October and I'd like to lose 2-3 stone by then - and also a sunny holiday in August so would like to lose some timber before that too.
I still have 1.5 stone off since I joined and I'd like to make sure that I don't fall down the slippery slope.
Nice to see all the old *faces* here and some new ones as well.0 -
I just realised how close to the end of this challenge we are
(two weeks on Sunday it's done!)
going to mentally prepare myself for the next one; have already started my online shopping list and butchers order************************************

A lovely 2lb loss for me this week at last - feels like it's been so long since I saw the scales moving downwards so I'm a happy bunny. Just hope I can keep it going now. Well done to the fellow losers this week :T:T0

Hi all
Congrats on SOTW piglet and congrats to everyone elese who has lost.
Can you pop me down for -0.5lb please shala. Thought I would have a gain as it was star week and normally sweets are not a problem for me but I have been picking at them when DH or the boys have been leaving them lying around so I am pleased with a loss no matter how small.
Did an SP day today which I have found easier than I expected and to be honest I am so full I can't manage by second HeB Finn Thins and my cheese (HeA) that I had planned for supper so not sure where that leaves me as I am not sure if I really have to have both HeB's in a day to make it work.
Planning another SP day tomorrow so we shall see how that goes. I have also been batch cooking for the freezer as I am back at work on Tuesday and have been trying to make sure I have enough in for lunches etc for when I am back.0
