    FOUND YOU::j
(Have copied and pasted the 2 posts I put at the end of the last challenge's thread.Thank you Lois Lane for pointing me in the right direction)

    .........................................................................................

Saver-upper creeps back into the room, and quietly takes a chair at the back............

I hope I can re-join you all.I fell off the SWwagon about 18 months ago-I was at target at the time, but was getting a bit bored with the plan (and it was hard work getting my family to try "new" foods :o),and we were about to move in with inlaws' for 5 months while our house was being extended.I knew ,with cooking for 2 famlies,SW was never going to work,Christmas was coming up,etc, etc,so I strayed.

I have been telling myself for months that I must get back on plan, and never have.FIrst I would tell myself I would go back to SW,then I told myself I would do it from home, then I determined that I was just going to eat healthily (I really do believe if I did nothing but cut out the rubbish I binge-eat after the kids go to bed,I would lose a couple of stone right there )

    Now,here I am,weighing 2 stone 10lb over my target weight,and ready to do something about it :j:j

I have a very fussy family to feed (OH and eldest not so bad,but 3 younger kids very hard to feed ),but everyone has been told I need to lose this weight .I have a significant birthday in September, and can't bear the thought of still luggin' all this weight around with me then.So imagine their shock this afternoon.when I told them there was salad for lunch, and no sweets in the house for afters :p.

I do have a meal out tomorrow night, which I think is about my full allowance of syns for the week ,but I must start this journey today-there have been far too many excuses.

    Wish me luck.

PS:before posting,I spent about 30 minutes reading back, trying to see where the current challenge finishes, but not sure (could be next week).I would love to join the challenge, thank you shala-moo.

    ..............................................................................................................

    Today's meals:
Breakfast: handful of strawberries,an apple and a mandarin

Lunch: slices of Sainsbury barbecue chicken, cherry tomatoes, carrot, cucumber, yellow peppers

Tea: gammon,a slice of tinned pineapple (have looked high and low,but can't find syns value),fried egg (no oil, free),peas, green beans, carrot, orange pepper, cherry tomatoes

Have had cups of tea using milk allowance (semi-skimmed milk.Hoping tomorrow to do a bigger grocery shop, will get skimmed milk)

Have been for 2 40 minute brisk walks today (second one brisker than the first because only had one child with me ,walking, instead of 4 children with me, on bikes/walking.)

Thanks for doing the chart, Shala! :D

Welcome to the thread Saver-upper :hello: - nice to have you with us. Everybody on this thread is really friendly and encouraging, so you'll get loads of support, and as you've been at target, I'm sure you'll have lots of tips and hints for those of us who are still trying to get that far!

Well, I went out to dinner and had the mushroom risotto, and it was bloomin' lovely (if slightly cheesier and more oily than I allowed for!), so I am adding a few more syns onto today's total, and although I am over today, I am still within for the week - if I am careful tomorrow and Wednesday. ;) I can pull it back...I can, I can, I can! :p

    So, tomorrow's menu:
B: Cheese (HExA) omelette with mushrooms & tomatoes
    L: Mushroom soup
D: Jacket potato with tuna and salad
HExB: Probably an alpen light bar or a hi-fi bar...

Don't be too upset at a gain Candyapple. I agree with the advice to measure yourself. Sometimes the tape measure is better than the scales.

Sounds like a sigh of relief at those STS's Orlao and Cazza :)

Well done on losses Shiprob and Whiplashy

Congrats on SOTW Piglet and thanks for the chart Shala

Glad you are feeling happier Lantanna

Hope your mouth isn't too sore Beanielou. Could help the weight loss though :)

Welcome back Saver-upper. It's a good idea to post your menus each day then there is always someone around who can let you know if anything looks wrong.

Congratulations piglet on SOTW; and well done to everyone else who are taking part in the challenge.

    Today's plan:

B - sausage sandwich (2 low fat butchers sausages; brown sauce; low fat spread)
L - ham salad - lettuce, cucumber, beetroot, spring onions, pepper, tomato, pickled onions, onion chutney
D - Spanish chicken - chicken, chorizo, onion, rice

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 2 sausages (1); 1/2 Tbs brown sauce (0.5); low fat spread (1)
12.5g chorizo (1.5); May have a couple of squares of dark chocolate later
