Evening - didn't get chance to come back on but today has been:

    B - Muller light
D - Bacon medallions, bubble and squeak cakes, cherry tomatoes, beans
T - Pork loin steaks, frozen veg steam bag (cauli, broc and carrots), Aunt Bessie C&S mash
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Almonds
    Syns - Sugar (5), mash above (1.5), hot choc (3) = 9.5
    Other: Pickled onions

I've spent a few hours this afternoon hanging heavy mirrors so that's a bit of exercise as well.

Weigh day tomorrow but I'm still so full from tea that I'm not too optimistic...

    MissTeach - enjoy LA...what a fabulous surprise! :j

Lushlifesaver, please don't leave the challenge. What is the saying - we only fail when we give up? You are not a failure, you are doing a great job. We all have bad weeks and everyone on this thread is here to support you. It already sounds like you have a great plan in place to get back on track - you can do it!! ;)

Well, I went to weigh in and lost -5½lbs! I nearly fell off the scales when she told me! It just proved to me that this way of life works when I stick to it (and write it all down and count all my syns and don't try and sneak in extra treats that I think don't matter :o). Anyway, got my Club 10 and 2 stone awards, so I was buzzing. Also got SOTW! :j

    Today's menu was:
B: Crunchy bran (HExB) & milk (HExA)
L: The last of my rice & minced beef dish - boy, does it stretch! :rotfl:
D: M&S Balanced for you Red Thai Chicken Curry with extra sugar snaps, baby corn & asparagus for speed

However, I went shopping with Mum this afternoon and we ended up in John Lewis who were having an "event", so I also had a champagne chocolate truffle and a small tub of Jude's salted caramel ice cream, which was lovely (but wasn't in the WLP, so I have synned it as Haagen-Dazs?!). This brings my syns for today to 30½ (oops!), but I've really enjoyed it all, and my week is planned and I should be able to claw it back, so that's fine. :D (And in my defence, I didn't have the glass of cava JL were also giving away! :p)

    Tomorrow's menu will be:
B: Cheese (HExA) omelette with mushrooms & tomatoes
    L: Leek & potato soup
D: Ratatouille stuffed mushrooms with asparagus & salad. Pear & strawberries with Greek yoghurt.
    HExB:tbc...

chocolateteddy, sorry to hear that you didn't get the result you deserved on the scales this week. :( Please don't give up - often we don't get the result we deserve one week, and then it shows on the scales the following week. You've done so well so far - keep going!! :T

    Well done Piglet - blimey!

Chocolateteddy - to reiterate what Piglet said, keep it up this week and I'm sure you'll have a fab loss next week.

I'm reporting a 1lb loss please Shala, that takes me to +0.5lb since the start of the challenge :o but is my first loss in four weeks and it's TOTM so I'm hoping if I keep up my good work this week it might show next week...

Today won't be good but not really because I feel the need to binge:
    B - Banoffee baked oats
D - Half a portion of fish and chips with Gran
T - Half of an M&S Dine In Chinese meal (previous half had last week when feeling meh, more to remove it from the freezer than anything)
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Oats
    Syns - Er...

I found some odd stuff in the freezer when I did my stocktake yesterday but more than anything I was surprised at how time flies - a piece of mackerel that I distinctly remember putting in had been in there a YEAR, so that went out along with two (?) bags of Aunt Bessie Honey glazed parsnips from Christmas time that I suspect are very Synful and not even Speed. There were also ELEVEN pork loin chops (?!) Good job I like them!

Right I'm off for a gentle run now to test my new insoles - pray for me!

Then off to get my nails done which is SW friendly as it makes me feel less like a fat flump and less likely to binge :D (Hopefully).

    Happy Friday all! xx

Good luck with this mornings weigh in Maman and Tete

Well done Denise, Bubbs, Ruthy, Beanielou and piglet on your losses.

ChocolateTeddy try not to let the sts upset you. We all have weeks like that where the scales don't show what we deserve. The body doesn't always work with our weigh in schedules, but your hard work will pay off.

Lantanna take care of yourself, and enjoy your holiday. Make the most of your holiday and have a good de-stress.

Lush, it is so difficult when you are tired. If you can try and get some me time, and relax. If you feel refreshed, then hopefully you will find staying on plan easier and feel less deprived.
You know exactly what to do with the planning, but I agree with you that sticking to the plan is the hard bit. I think though, that making the plan keeps it in your mind, so even if you don't stick to it, it can help you subconsciously make choices that arent as bad as they could be.

Hugs to all that need them

Well done Tete on the loss. We were both typing at the same time :)

Yesterday was a good day. Managed lunch out, and enjoyed it, and also enjoyed dinner.
Makes me feel more positive when I am enjoying food, and I'm feeling less tempted by high syn stuff I'm allowed.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - fruit
    Lunch - Beef salad sandwich
Dinner - spicy salmon with speed veg and rice

    HA - milk
    HB - none
syns - white bread and butter in the sandwich
    Zebras rock
  • Morning all! Reporting a -1/2lb .

Well done Piglet, fab loss, Kathryn you are so inspiring with all you are dealing with, chocolateteddy bah how frustrating - sure it will be a fab loss at next weigh in as others have said. Lush stay with us!

I am having to give myself a stern talking too:rotfl:! 12 weeks until holibobs, must stop cheating, eating little ones crusts, failing to record Syns and weigh things out. I seem to have pretty much maintained since the end of January so need to push through and get a bit more serious.

On the plus side I am back in size 12's now.::j oh and I have dropped the sweetner from my hot drinks, it took a bit of getting used to and I certainly don't drink as much tea as before but that is no bad thing!

So today I have measured out my Special K and milk, filled it to the brim with fresh raspberries, strawberries and a banana. I will have speedy chilli and J pot for lunch with an ham omelette later.

    Have fab Friday's everyone! X
