That's the thing - its enormous salads and huge amounts of vegetables that I am eating, not necessarily free meat & carbs like pasta/rice, but I still wonder whether my portions could/should be more restrained!
P x
I am having very very little carbs as in rice/pasta/pots etc, did have a small jkt pot tonight though, usually meat and veg or saladSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Hope everyone's ok xx
Menu for today for me - bad day, millions of synscrisps, cake, chips everywhere in the office!!
B - fruit, yogurt, oats (3)
L - BLT (heb) mayo (1) crisps (3)
T - beef lasagne - (6 syns for the mince + hea), salad
S - mini cheddars (6) shortbread (millions), apple
The lasagne was nice (piccie) but so, so, greasy _pale_ I don't know how people eat normal mince now, it was good quality but just full of fat _pale_ the recipe's definitely on the list to make again but with <5% mince and i'd probably put the cheese on top rather than in with the mince.
So onto the chart... apologies if I've missed anyone, we seem to have a few results missing this week.
SOTW* is.... :T:j:TKATHRYNHA:T:j:T with a loss of 3.5lbs!!

Congratulations Kathryn on SOTW. An amazing loss with all the restrictions in your diet now.
Piglet if the bulk of your food is vegetables then I don't think I'd worry too much about portion size. Even with largish portions of protein and carbs as long as they don't have fat with them then it probably isn't too big a problem either. Carbs aren't fattening in themselves it things that are added to them that are the problem!

Joedenise, Sounds like you made not too bad choices when you could, and we all have days where it's hard to stick to plan.
Piglet, in theory as long as at least a third is speed then portion size shouldn't matter, but if you are feeling it is too much then just gradually reduce it. Don't reduce it too quickly, as that will make you feel hungry, and that is when it's easy to go off plan.
Shala, thanks for the chart. You do such a brilliant job keeping it up to date. Really appreciate it.
Cant believe I got SOTW. was a bit of a shock loss last week. It was before I was put on the restrictive diet. Tonight's weigh in will be a very different story. The lack of fibre in what I am allowed is having an impact!
As a positive, my noodles for breakfast were lovely. Not a traditional breakfast food, but who care. I feel full and I actually enjoyed eating it!Zebras rock0 -
....flying in, sorry to be awol.
sts for me last Friday. Well done all, hugs all round. Thanks so much for keeping track of us all Shala  xx0 -
Thanks Shala, that is pretty depressing reading on my part - must try harder! If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

Kathryn - glad you enjoyed your noodles for breakfast. As you say not a traditional breakfast food but you have to do what you can do whilst on your very restricted diet. Good luck with WI later.
As you are able to eat noodles perhaps for lunch you could do sweet chilli noodles with finely chopped vegetables that's if you're allowed sweet chilli sauce! I often used to make that as a lunch and then would add prawns or cooked chicken to it for a bit of protein but I'm sure it would work with other sauces if you're not allowed sweet chilli.
Today I WILL stick to plan 100%!!!
B - cheese omelette (10g of cheese 2 syns)
L - ham salad - mixed leaves, pepper, spring onions, beetroot, cucumber, cherry tomatoes
D - butchers sausages (1 syn); mash; veg of some sort
HEA - milk
HEB - not sure yet but possibly a couple of Hifi bars
Syns - 3 as above
Need to go shopping to get some stuff as fridge is looking very bare which is why I've have nothing to go with my omelette for breakfast - not even a lonely mushroom to add to it!
