The Amoy Udon Straight to Wok noodles are free kathrynha. I can't remember where I bought mine but I've seen them in the £ shop. They're really fat ones and I like them. I buy pouches of brown or pilau rice for a change too.
One of my favourite HM stir fry sauces for chicken is just soy and honey with lime juice stirred through just before serving. It depends how sweet you like it but I use 1 tbsp of soy to 2 tbsps. of honey. Cook the chicken in that, add the veg and when that's ready stir through a few shakes of lime juice (I buy bottles from Aldi) and then pile on to rice or microwaved noodles.
I will have to look out for the Amoy Udon STW noodles, as I love noodles, and am allowed them.
I am making my own stir fry sauces as good as I can. Soy sauce is unfortunately on the limited list, but sweet chilli sauce is good for me and I love that.Zebras rock0 -
Tweets, we all go through phases of losing and gaining the same few pounds. Just stick to plan and the weight will go eventually. Think I will be in for a gain this week too.Zebras rock0

+2lbs this week
I am like a yo yo lose it put it on lose it put it on :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Sorry for this tweets:( but we will all go through it:o
I think part of the problem is that we're watching carefully and trying to keep in that 6 lbs target window. I think it's probably quite normal for weight to fluctuate but we just notice it more than most.
I was wondering kathrynha whether you can have fruit juice as it's low fibre or even passata or puree? Maybe it's the tomato skin and seeds that you have to avoid.
Good to see you posting shala. Will you be able to reproduce the recipes you've used with Gousto? Do share if you've found anything low syn.:)
Glad you enjoyed your hot cross bun denise. I'd prefer one of those to an Easter egg any day.
My kitchen smells wonderful with the Bolognese bubbling and pork cooking. I just need to find extreme willpower and not eat the crackling.:(0 -

Unfortunately fruit juice is out. And tomatoes it's the whole lot I have to avoid.
It is a bit of a nightmare. My list of allowed foods is a lot shorter than the list of banned foods, and the quantities of the 'allowed a bit of' foods our so small that normal meals are difficult.
Only one good bit about this restrictive diet is Haribo, Wotsits and vodka are all okay for me to eatZebras rock0 -
Regarding the Wellwoman tablets, they have made me windy. I think I need to go to the toilet and I just pass loads of wind.
At least I think it's the tablets, as I started taking them last Tuesday and it's only started since them.
Has anyone tried the Peppermint and Liquorice tea bags from Asda? I ordered some on my shopping and have tried one and they are lovely! I have the chocolate orange ones and they are nice, but not as nice the other ones.
I have some Scan bran from group to try and make me go! (Wish me luck). :rotfl:Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -
Hi Kathrynha, are you on a low residue diet. Because that is very restricted
My husband has IBS and when he has a flare up he has to go in that until it settles down then he goes back on his fibre way of life. It can get boring but I suppose it's better than suffering. I struggle with Diabetes and that too gets tedious
Hope you get sorted out soon, and you get used to your diet.:)

No, I'm having to restrict a couple of minerals as my body can't process much of them at the moment, so by restricting them it will allow my body to concentrate on recovering from the op and the damage caused.Zebras rock0 -
Hi all, hope you're all doing well
I've been MIA again with work travel etc so not caught up with the thread for well over a week but will try and read back a bit tonight
