They do. The online food logger can't cope with you having 2 different flavours, because it assumes that when you add 1 you are doing a SP day, when 1 is classed as a HB so syns the 2nd. I questioned this the other week.
Thanks, Kathryn - I guessed it might be the WLP but couldn't work out why. Your answer explains it perfectly - I hadn't considered the SP thing...

Hope you had a lovely birthday Denise _party_ and a lovely wedding anniversary Wiz, congratulations :T
We've been a bit un-MSE and SW this week and ordered a box of meals from Goust0 (half price offer). We were getting bored of eating the same thing over and over again, so we've got something different to try. Most of the groceries are fresh so syn-free, just the lamb mince we're using is synned as it's not under 5%
So meal plan for today
B - none
L - GF ciabatta roll (heb), egg, bacon
T - Greek lamb pasta (5 syns, feta hea), salad
S - crisps(3) melon, orange

The restrictive diet is kind of going okay, I am starting to get some things I know I can have safely. Having lots of rice. Do need to work out a safe source of fibre that I can have.
The Amoy Udon Straight to Wok noodles are free kathrynha. I can't remember where I bought mine but I've seen them in the £ shop. They're really fat ones and I like them. I buy pouches of brown or pilau rice for a change too.
One of my favourite HM stir fry sauces for chicken is just soy and honey with lime juice stirred through just before serving. It depends how sweet you like it but I use 1 tbsp of soy to 2 tbsps. of honey. Cook the chicken in that, add the veg and when that's ready stir through a few shakes of lime juice (I buy bottles from Aldi) and then pile on to rice or microwaved noodles.
Yesterday was better than I planned. I didn't take Crunchie to the football, I added some onion wedges to sausages and mushrooms so increased Speed and went to bed earlier than usual (fell asleep watching MOTD:D) so had less wine syns than expected.
Today I've put Bolognese (jam packed with Speed) in the SC so that'll be mostly for the freezer. I'm also going to try those Parsnip and potato colcannon cakes that were in the SW magazine. I have the ingredients and they'll make a nice change in the week from plain potato.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: veggie omelette with beetrootJO roast pork on carrots, onions and celery with cauli, broccoli, spring greens and SW roasties.
Syns squirt of syrup, HM gravy, weekend wine.:)0 -
Thanks for the explanation of the pot noodles Kathryn - sounds like a brilliant take-to-work lunch to bear in mind for when I have a nice office job again... For now I'm making the most of being able to have a SW full English
Off out in the garden now. Flying by the seat of my pants with it but it's all hard work so that's a good thing, eh?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

L - Laughing Cow triangle sandwich with cucumber & pickled onions (HEB + 1)

Snack - hot cross bun (9 syns); 2 tsp low fat spread (1 syn)
HEA - 1% milk in tea

Are lentils and beans a no-no?
Lentils and beans I'm allowed only a really small amount of. Wholemeal pasta and bread are out, as is brown rice, and the cereals I'm allowed are low fibre ones.
I'm allowed white bread, white rice, white pasta and white noodles. Total opposite to everything that is normally good for you!
Potato skins are out, as well as nuts and dried fruit.
I am allowed a small amount of oats, but very limited on amount of milk or yogurt to go with it.
There is fibre in a lot of fruit and veg, but difficult to get a lot.Zebras rock0 -
