Thanks for this...
I have also been refilling my plug-in air freshners with oil and water, I used to spend a fortune on refils.0 -

Lol I didnt make it up, its in one of my books somewhere. I'm keen on natural alternatives so made the room spritzer up one day and it worked really well.
I think vodka is a preservative and has no smell so its perfect for this type of thing. You can also use it in handmade soap apparently to make it clear!0 -

Oh no lol, you dont smell the vodka at all, it just preserves the oil and stops the water going fusty.0 -

Sorry if a similar tip is already posted, did have a quick look.
I use to use comfort iron water when ironing but I was going through alot, so decided to keep an empty bottle fill it with water and put a few drop of fabric conditioner/softner and hey presto!! Soft and nice smelling clothes!!

Will let you know my results!!!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Thanks, I use cheap rosewater (from Asian Deli) as I love the smell and a little goes a long way & doesn't seem to threaten to block my iron.
