Hope you are OK and will you help me with the kitchen after Christmas? Yours is absolutely wonderful - why on earth did you need to paint?
Take care, to you and everyone else reading the thread.

evening alland hugs ofr the Poorlys and Out of Sorts among us and of course a special mention for Chalky who must be getting sick of all this attention now :rotfl: :rotfl:
I am on a pamper mission and have promised to do one nice thing for myself every day to make up for the million and one thankless things I do every day - I have painted my nails for the first time in years - it seems I have been too busy even to bite them for a while and they look quite nice. Dd inspired me by painting every single one off her fingernails a different colour in order to teach her son his colours - mine are a light mauve but hers are all colours of the rainbow and black! tomorrow i will tackle my 'tache
OS wise little dd, middle dd and dgs met up to do some shopping and go to drs and treated ourselves to an asda baked potato which little dd convinced herself was her tea and who am i to argue
Exoh was round last night - pays whatever a month to be a Friend of the Earth but is absolutely hopeless. Last night started a bath at 11pm which meant I couldn't get into the bathroom ... yes I know I've seen it before but I don't want to see it again ta .... but could hear it being constantly topped up with hot water. This am I left my keys at home - came back to get them and heard the taps running - he's having another bath because he's cold! I suppose being green only counts if it's your energy you're saving and not anyone else's. I also fished a couple of beer bottles out of the bin and various other things that could be recycled.
Tomorrow will be a very difficult day - an exboyf that I worked with has been on long term sick/career break but is coming in tomorrow to sort out his return to work. He had mental health issues which meant that I had to ban him from the house and change the locks and members of his family have had to take out injunctions. One of them was hospitalised by him (yes I can pick'em can't I?) While he was away he emailed me several suicide notes
I think work should do some sort of medical assesment to ensure that he's on meds or whatever but they're not doing that it seems so it will be quite difficult to feel safe at work while he's there although he never hurt me he was scary during episodes - ho hum - life is never dull chez moi
On a happier note I am going out two nights running - after dark and everything with real adult people - woo hoo. Tomorrow I am going to a recording of the News Quiz on R4 and fri some R3 thing with Ian McMillan which is going out live so I may cough in an interesting way for all your benefits if you're listening. These things are brilliant if you are close to london and like radio shows - I have been to some tv recordings but they are dull with loads of outtakes and shots of the audience looking excited for the umpteenth time. - radio recordings are much quicker and cosier. if anyones intersted I will look for the link.
ok - nails are dry now so 'nuff rambling - have a good rest of the eveningI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
I have had a busy day, tried to post (OK. Maybe not done right and can't do it from work.)
Just again want to say best wishes, love and hugs to you all.

Evening all,
Just realised the time so its going to be: thanks for all the good wishes for DDIL...she was home yesterday for several hours but only a few to-day, at least she is complying with hospital wishes, so hopefully she will be sorted soon
Many thanks to all those who sent such kind wishes, wonderful to have so many friends.
Hugs to all in need for any reason, especially those unable to post at the moment...agree with whoever said that MrsMCawber's level of activity tires them...just jealous really
Fed up of crab apples, boiling, straining and making jelly were my sole occupations for most of the day, did manage a little knitting while watching soaps. Going to freeze some of the juice to make into jelly with mint/rosemary and thyme when I come back from holidays.
Ordered wool from Kemps on 8th and has not arrived yet, they said yesterday that it left them on 10th, PO and sorting office here have no knowledge of it so not too happy...was uneasy with using post for wool but too late now to worry...will do a follow up call to-morrow
Hope that everyone sleeps well
